About
Lake Lawn Resort spans across two miles of shoreline along Delavan Lake. The resort was founded in 1878, making it one of Wisconsin's oldest leisure destinations. Its proximity to both Chicago and Milwaukee has made it very popular. The championship golf course was not added until 1921, but it is still one of the area's oldest. It has a traditional layout that was revamped in 1990 but the original character was carefully preserved. The course is known for the stately oaks that are abundant throughout the course. The mature trees frame the holes and demand accuracy as well as creative shot-making. There are also deep sand bunkers strategically placed along Lake Lawn Resort's greensides. The greens themselves are quite tricky and varied too. Some have subtle but tough undulations while others are multi-tiered.

Solid Course
Great water views of lake Lawn. Very forgiving fairways. Greens in great condition. Fun Course to play
Great Staff, Course was “Meh” for the price
Great staff, the blonde cart girl was probably the best cart girl I’ve seen in my 50 rounds this year! Every two holes she was coming around and it was a busy day, absolutely loved to see it.
Played the course in two hours and thirty minutes as a solo. Loved seeing all the groups of ladies out there having a lot of fun.
The course is currently going through transitions and remodels. It got a bit confusing when the holes played different yardages and scores than the scorecard but they did give a notice when checking in.
The greens were quite slow and soft. I enjoyed the course for its unique characteristics like the beautiful views, but I still wouldn’t spend 40$ to play it again after its remodel is done.
If you can find this course for 25$ on hotdeal, it’s a great deal.
Nice course, good value, not too demanding
My wife and I played with our friends (another couple). We very much enjoyed playing Majestic Oaks. Some nice views of Lake Delavan during the round. The course is spread across rolling terrain, so I would not call it super easy, but it is from an age when golf was truly a leisurely activity; too many other courses these days are built to first be a challenge, not fun. Thus, this course is great for beginners and intermediate golfers. We had a great time.
Nice Course But With Lots of Players
This resort course is fairly tight with some beautiful trees. The greens are smallish, undulated, and rolled well. The staff and starter were great.
I thought the course would be marshalled but it wasn’t. During my round, the other golfers just weren’t very nice people which left me frustrated. Too many threesomes and twosomes for my liking. I’ll probably try it again.

Tee boxes, fairways and greens were the best uve seen this year.

Though rather flat, the course is well designed to take advantage of the lake with some really beautiful holes!

Friendly staff
Traved almost an hour. Staff was very friendly. Greens were beautiful. Pace of play was suburb but t time waz early. Can't wait to get back
Very friendly staff. Great pace of play. Good corse conditions. Weakness are no practice range, cart girl would drive by but not stop to ask if we needed drinks. The food at the turn was very very pricey for less than average cheeseburgers. Will skip all food next time.
With a new course layout, you need to have better directions to the new holes. There were a lot of lost people out there who should be rangers to move the pace of play as well. Courses in the shape.
