About
Lake Lawn Resort spans across two miles of shoreline along Delavan Lake. The resort was founded in 1878, making it one of Wisconsin's oldest leisure destinations. Its proximity to both Chicago and Milwaukee has made it very popular. The championship golf course was not added until 1921, but it is still one of the area's oldest. It has a traditional layout that was revamped in 1990 but the original character was carefully preserved. The course is known for the stately oaks that are abundant throughout the course. The mature trees frame the holes and demand accuracy as well as creative shot-making. There are also deep sand bunkers strategically placed along Lake Lawn Resort's greensides. The greens themselves are quite tricky and varied too. Some have subtle but tough undulations while others are multi-tiered.

Pricy for what you get.
I was very disappointed with the course - the nine holes I played - considering the cost. $40+ for nine holes on what I think.is an ok course seems steep considering what I pay around Chicago for similar 9 hole rounds.
People are super nice.
Fun track
So I'm an 11 index for reference. I found the staff great! Played at 7:15 and walked/carried so it is a very walkable course. Found layout to be fun. The par 5s were legit as were the 3s from the blue tee. Some of the 4s you'll find short but fun and a chance to score! Greens were in very good shape if a bit slow compared to country club speeds but played true and challenging!
I'll be back! Hit 'em straight!
Possibly the most enjoyable round I’ve ever played
Me and my wife were the first group to tee off at 6:40am on a Saturday morning. Despite the drought we’ve had the course was in impeccable shape. Beautiful course, loved the layout, challenging but a decent amount of forgiveness off the tees. Staff was very friendly. We played 18 in 3hrs and couldn’t of been happier with our experience at majestic oaks.
Outstanding Experience
Took dad out for a round while staying at the Abbey. The views of the Lake while enjoying the course were spectacular! Great service from the pro shop down to the course staff. Thanks!
Easy an straight
Nice links course. In very good condition, especially the greens. I’ll be back.
Rain out
Cancelled golf due to extreme cold weather, rain and wind. Did not get booking refund.
Would play course if we’re in the area next time.
