About
Lake Lawn Resort spans across two miles of shoreline along Delavan Lake. The resort was founded in 1878, making it one of Wisconsin's oldest leisure destinations. Its proximity to both Chicago and Milwaukee has made it very popular. The championship golf course was not added until 1921, but it is still one of the area's oldest. It has a traditional layout that was revamped in 1990 but the original character was carefully preserved. The course is known for the stately oaks that are abundant throughout the course. The mature trees frame the holes and demand accuracy as well as creative shot-making. There are also deep sand bunkers strategically placed along Lake Lawn Resort's greensides. The greens themselves are quite tricky and varied too. Some have subtle but tough undulations while others are multi-tiered.

Very slow greens
This course has a great potential. Everything is in great shape. The only complaint but a big one is the slow greens. Easily the slowest greens I have played on without question. Make the greens faster and they could charge much more. It was a fun course but I will not play it again because of the greens.
This place has many good people
I played almost all public courses in Chicago land. Never seen as professional and friendly staffs like Majestic Oaks. I always bring my boat to this resort when I play golf. Marina people are also very nice. Went to restaurants,... didn’t see as helpful people like this in Chicago.
There’s gotta be something special about this year place.

Great Venue
What a terrific course. The bent grass greens were just perfect, like putting on a carpet. Visiting from Florida, it was fun to putt on something besides Bermuda grass. Extremely friendly and personable staff. The Bloody Mary bar was an added bonus. Would definitely play again.
Great course
First time golfing here. The course was in excellent shape. No brown spots anywhere. The scenery arond the lake was a bonus. Was one of the first people out so pace of play was based solely on myself. Did finish 18 holes in 1:55.
Good value
Walked 18 with a seven club bag. Good distance, surprising elevations on the back and a lot of fun. Decent pace (not great). Could use a ranger.
no response from golf now or course
Made reservation on goof course web site bu they must go thru golf now. Sent email to golf now and called course to cancel reservation. It was never cancelled.Have a service charge from golf now on my credit card that I want removed.

Golf
Don’t know about the staff, food or drinks. Paid online and everything was shut down. 14$ to play a decent course overlooking a lake. In good shape for March ! It’s an older course so not very long. Which is fine when it’s cold out.
Very friendly staff. Course conditions were very good considering that tee off was almost in January (12-26-19) I will recommend and play this course during summer of 2020 and beyond. Thanks
