Just OK
Generous of the tee. Tiny, hard greens are really only defence for the course. I know it’s been dry but the place needs a good drink. Back nine in worse condition than the front and i hear they are closing it for a total refurb. Had fun with 3 great guys who i only met on the first tee. Would play again but not at 100 bucks.

Perfect place
The welcome was very friendly and everbody did explain Everything very nicely. The marshall came by several times and was extremely friendly. We come again soon!

Worth a Visit
Was a little disappointed when told we couldn’t take our own cooler, which wouldn’t have mattered but didn’t see a drinks cart all day. The course, I would say was fairly easy, played off the white tees and perhaps should have moved back to blues. Not too much trouble around although there were a couple of blind hazards which, if you didn’t know the course like our group, could catch you out. Open air bar at the turn which was good value and a good atmosphere with live music later. Pace of play was pretty slow as we were having to stand and wait on pretty much every hole. A rude two ball asked if we could let them through but as there wasn’t a gap and it would have delayed us further we declined and they made some rude comment. Other than that the round was enjoyable and we’d consider playing the course again if we were in the area

Our favorite Cape Coral course.
They are redoing the back nine tee boxes and areas around the bunkers. Other than that the course is in very good condition from tees to greens.

Positive changes
I've played this course several times since 2012. It was a good experience up until 4 or 5 years ago. The main reason was that some of the staff were rude and not friendly. In particular the one short guy in the pro shop. I'm sure he was fired because the current staff are incredible.

Course being redone.
Course overall in fair condition but they going to redone and close the back 9. Already killed the grass in a lot of areas.

Great time per usual, course was a little discolored due to the lack of rain we haven’t had but overall great layout and conditions. Season is coming to an end and the afternoon tee times are the way to go, wide open.

Best public Cape Coral course
In my opinion, this is the best semi-public course in Cape Coral. From tee boxes to greens, it is in very good shape. It's clean and well cared for. However, on the back nine only it appears Round-up was mistaken for fertilizer. The tee boxes and areas around the sand traps on holes 10 to18 area D.E.A.D. dead. I wonder if they had planned to totally reseed them? We'll be back for now, regardless.
Beginning the 2nd week of May 2023, Palmetto-Pine will be renovating the back 9 and only have the front 9 open for play. The renovation will include brand new greens, tees and bunkers! In preparation of the project, the tees and green/bunkers surrounds on the back 9 have been sprayed with round up and have begun to turn color. Those surfaces are very playable. The ball sits up, and one can get a lot of spin off the lies around the greens. For roughly the next month, the back 9 will look like an Arizona course with only green fairways and putting surfaces. We plan to have all 18 holes open by November 1st, 2023. The front 9 holes have not been treated, are green in color, and will remain open during the summer. It was windy but the weather was beautiful. The course was in nice shape. I played the blue tees and was challenging. I would definitely play here again.

One of the best public courses on Cape Coral. Hands down. Well run. Wellmaintained . Clean and not littered. Consistent greens no matter the speed. Very good fairways, greens and tee boxes for Southwest Florida, Cape Coral, for this time of year compared to all the other public courses around as far as I'm concerned.
