WE HAD A WONDEUL TIME & THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE

Cape Royale is a busy course with different events being held there all the time and the day we played was no exception.

Our group was limited to playing one of there 9 hole courses twice because of an amateur event which we had no idea of knowing when booked.

Now I wouldn’t care any other time but paying Florida winter rates for golf is expensive so I want to get the most bang for my buck.

My thought is that we should have received reduced green fees on that day.

Nice place to play. All area courses suffering from water retrictions, so conditions reflect this. Very clean facility, high tech carts, nice people.

I’m down here in Southwest Florida trying out the snowbird life. This is the fifth or sixth time I’ve played Cape Royal. It’s an average course for non-members. They seem to take care of their members first and foremost, which is expected. Teetimes for non-members are scarce and today was no exception. Teed off around one and was paired up with some nice people. Played the king and queen courses. Greens were all in very good shape. Due to the recent drought of the last four months, the fairways and rough is burned up. It’s ok for $100 but I won’t pay more.

Play was slow to many players! Bar and grill was closed to early

Cape Royal takes advantage of being one of only two public course in Cape Coral (not counting horrible Coral Oaks) to charge about $20 more than what I think it's worth. Magnolia Landing in N Ft Myers and Webb's Reserve in Babcock Ranch are comparably prices but 30 minutes farther in typical terrible winter traffic. The fairways are dry and a bit patchy, which is ok in winter but you'll find much better fairways at the other courses I mentioned. The staff here are great, which helps set the tone for the round. The starter was very efficient and got us out a bit early. We played in 3:50-- great pace! We've played here several times this winter and feel they've done well in managing the pace of afternoon rounds.

Could not have been happier with our day out at Cape Royal!

This is my fourth time playing Cape Royal. It’s a good value if you can get a GolfNow rate. We played for roughly $70 per person. As with most courses in southwest Florida right now, it’s a little dry. The greens rolled nicely and tease were in good shape. Peace of play was right at four hours for 18. Pro shop staff could’ve been a little more attentive, but other than that, it was a pretty good day.

1st time playing this course. A long drive to get there from where im at but was worth it. Friendly staff, great bar, conditions were really good considering drought. Fun lay out, must play tips if a long driver. Some local HOA snobs in front of us in their custom carts just taking too long. Rangers should play a more observant role. Other than that? Great time...

As first times we really enjoyed the course. It was in great condition given the time of year. The staff were very courteous and helpful. It's on our list to play again!!

Great time, friendly staff, course was in nice shape. I will return.
