Great course
Very wet after lots of rain the day before but by noon it was drying out nicely. Greens are very grainy so don't expect a good day with the putter the first time here.
Interesting round
I usually like to hit a few balls before a round. Unfortunately the golf ball dispenser was malfunctioning and I had to wait about 10 minutes for it to be resolved. As a result I could only warm up with a few swings as my tee time was approaching. The course was well maintained. The greens were on the small side. While the ball rolled well, there were many ball marks that were not properly fixed. For the price in the Summer time I would suggest finding a better deal elsewhere.
Booking and bathrooms
There should be a notification when booking course conditions. Greens were aerated on king and prince. Nothing mentioned when I booked. I wish there was a bathroom on each 9 I only saw 1 on king which was about 13 holes into my round. I can't speak for queen because I didn't play queen.
Stay on the Fairways and greens
Once you get to the rough there are holes with minimal grass. Its been a dry spring, but I pretty rough off the fairway where I spend much of my time. Still a reasonable course for the money.
Cape Royal Golf
Course was in fair condition, but that is probably due to the lack of rain. Greens were fast, but still in fair to good condition. Love the layout and will continue to book rounds.
27 nice holes
Played this course again in another combination. Always fun and great greens for May!
Always nice and great conditions
Played this course the last couple of years and it is always fun when I am in Cape Coral. Great Golf Course with nice people.
Lil pricey for the King course
I wish we would have played 18 on the other courses. King was fun but I think the other 2 are more manicured. .
King over Queen
27 hole layout. Our two nines are revealed in the title. The King was straight forward and duffer friendly. The Queen requires more placement precision. The more often played, the more comfortable one will become. An enjoyable experience, but then I am into self abuse on a golf course.
Course really slow
Had an afternoon Tee Time so we thought we would be past the Morning crowd. Still had to wait on every Shot. First 9 took 2 and half hours.
Then as we made the Turn, used the Restroom, and came out to find another 3-ball was Teeing off our Tee. The group we had followed from our Front 9 were still in the Fairway, so we would not have dropped out of turn.
NO Ranger or STARTER to be found.
Guys were local residents judging by their Personalized golf carts. AND judging by their Play they were having a grand old time!
I guess Members have right of way to play anytime and jump in between any other Groups.
Finally quit after 16 Holes and went home to watch the Masters on TV
