Way over priced
This course is not in good shape. Its not horrible but for $160 it is in bad shape. The Queen course has a horrible layout several blind shots to the green because they refuse to trim the trees in the low lying areas you have to hit over. On one par 3 you struggle to see the green because of this. How can you play a par 3 effectively if you cannot see the pin let alone most of the green.? The King and Queen courses are ok layout but nothing special. If the course was priced around $120 I would consider playing there again but at $160 neatly any other course in the Cape Coral area is a much better value.. staff is fine price is just crazy play palmetto pines just down the road. Same price very nice course and way better everything.
Very nice course
First time playing this course. Upon entry you immediately get the vibe that’s it’s a local favorite . All the staff and players that I interacted with were friendly.
The courae was surprisingly more difficult than it appears. Greens were very fast but didn’t look liken they were. You can’t over power the course. It’s a placement strategic layout. I would definitely return on my next visit to the area. Special shout out to for he cart girl for the Motrin and nice conversation as well as the two ladies at the bar/restaurant. Very surprised with my food and wine selection. You guys were awesome
Great Time!
Beautiful course.some very challenging holes. Great sand traps. Rarely had to wait on group ahead of us. Friendly people. Overall a terrific experience.
Service in restaurant
Waitress totally ignored us in the dar/restaurant. Had to go the bar to get our order.
Fun day
If you rent clubs check them when you get them. The 1st set I got was horrible. I was asked to drive back to get a new set but I wouldn’t do that. A beautiful new set was brought out by a wonderful employee he made my day.
We were here on vacation. First golf of the year for us. Course was in great shape. Has some challenging spots but also fairly open for a first of the year round. The lady on the beverage cart was very friendly!
Greens were in good condition and putted fairly well
Cape Coral has too few courses so this course can charge the going rate which is way too high compared to some of the courses either north or south of the Cape. It was average. If you are going for an average experience.
EXCELLENT FACILITY
WE HAD A WONDEUL TIME & THE COURSE WAS IN GREAT SHAPE
Unreasonable pricing
Cape Royale is a busy course with different events being held there all the time and the day we played was no exception.
Our group was limited to playing one of there 9 hole courses twice because of an amateur event which we had no idea of knowing when booked.
Now I wouldn’t care any other time but paying Florida winter rates for golf is expensive so I want to get the most bang for my buck.
My thought is that we should have received reduced green fees on that day.
Nice place to play.
Nice place to play. All area courses suffering from water retrictions, so conditions reflect this. Very clean facility, high tech carts, nice people.
Typical SWFL Golf
I’m down here in Southwest Florida trying out the snowbird life. This is the fifth or sixth time I’ve played Cape Royal. It’s an average course for non-members. They seem to take care of their members first and foremost, which is expected. Teetimes for non-members are scarce and today was no exception. Teed off around one and was paired up with some nice people. Played the king and queen courses. Greens were all in very good shape. Due to the recent drought of the last four months, the fairways and rough is burned up. It’s ok for $100 but I won’t pay more.
