I just love Palmetto Pines!
It was our second visit to Palmetto Pines Golf course, We loved were worried about what damage we might find on this visit. We heard they loss a lot of trees during the hurricane, but happily we found the course to be in fabulous condition! Bob and the Marshalls, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful! After having a stoke, golfing is more challenging for me , and the staff bent over backward to help me out, making this trip even better than our trip pre Covid times! Can’t wait to get back there again!

Not a Country Club
The new owner is spending money to make this a better golf course for sure. However it can't be called a country club any longer since the club house is closed. Instead there is an outdoor hut/bar at the 10th tee box that has a few food items and drinks. Hot dogs, hamburgers that are kept warm for quick sales at the turn. Greens were very slow but in decent shape along with the rest of the property.

Nice course.
The course layout is very nice, hardly any water, which is strange for a Florida golf course..I’m not used to Florida grass. The ball kind of settles in and I ended up using a utility club instead of my 3 wood. (Metal).. but it’s the same (I think) for most Florida courses. The staff is friendly. I had a 8:26 Tee time and got moved up 45 minutes when I asked. When I saw push carts I thought I would be able to walk. Unfortunately, only if you’re a member..overall, veery nice and I’d play it again.

better than ever due to recent improvements
Now-Greens are a bit slow, probably to do with dry season grass care , keeping it a bit shaggy.
They were the same speed as another area course's greens.
Then and Now- Landscape and cart path improvements helped this already better than average course. They had switched holes 9 and 18. Then they also shortened the new Hole 18, Unfortunately for me, because I loved its prior challenge. But fortunately for pace of play, the switch is good. It s a well cared for and well run course.

Great course and awesome staff!
Fun course to play! The crew has done a remarkable job getting this course back in playing condition - fairways and tee boxes were in great shape. Only issue if you really want to call it that is the greens are a bit fuzzy so they run slow.
Very friendly staff - pro shop, starters, cart personnel and course rangers are all super nice.
Would definitely recommend playing this course - I plan to play it again before I head back home from my vacation.

Great course
Traveled from marco island to play this course. Definitely worth the drive. Nice layout, great condition. Only negative was pin placement was weird for the holes.

Great Experience
This course never dissapoints. The staff are very friendly the food at the turn is good. The course is in great shape, even after Ian the course was in good shape due to the emplyees working hard to cleaning up. Every round since its getting better and better. Give it a shot.
