Cove Cay Golf Club

I've never seen this course in better shape than it was on this day. The first green had a boo boo on the very front of the green but the other 17 greens were perfect. The greens were faster than what I was used to, so it took me a few holes to dial them in. After that they were a joy to put on. They rolled smoothly with no unexpected bumps along the way. Three things I look for are grass on the tee boxes, grass in the fairways and grass on the greens. This course passed on all three. This course has enough twists and turns to make it interesting and the views of the Bay on the back nine are outstanding. I recommend it and I will be back soon.

Great location and some pretty views. Not a long course but a bunch of really great holes.

Not too Long, but fun. Cove Cay has some unique holes like #12 that somewhat mimics #12 at Augusta. The course winds it way through Cove Cay Condo buildings and also along Tampa Bay. Fairways and greens were in good shape. Back nine tee boxes had just been punched, but not a big deal. Staff was excellent and we had a great conversation with the owner, Bill in the bar after the round. Already recommending Cove Cay to friends and will be back soon.

Cove Cay is in excellent condition and a real pleasure to play...it's right on Tampa Bay.....beautiful views, especially from the back 9 ......you will need all your clubs....not too much water or sand hazards on the front, but the back is a little tougher.....lots of water....don't need the driver all that much...just a couple of holes.....looking forward to returning again someday soon....

Played with my wife and some friends this past Saturday.. Staff is always great and the course was in really good shape. Cost was 54.00 for 7:23 tee time which is great! It's not a long course only 6000 from the back tees but it's challenging enough even though it's a bit short. You can see the bay from at least four holes and there are two that run right along side it. Just a really nice track for the money. They do a great job at Cove Cay.

Good layout, tees in good shape. Bad spots on a couple of greens. Nothing you can’t deal with. Fun course.

Cove Cay beautiful golf course. Love playing there.

Excellent course ... you need to plot your way round this course to avoid the water everywhere ... Staff where very pleasant and courteous... Dolphins playing in the bay at the side of the green .... for $55 it was a steal

Great course. Friendly patrons. Good bang for buck. Nice scenery. Not overly busy (played Sunday morning). Would recommend to friends.

The course is in good shape. The greens were still bumpy from aeration. The $32.99 Hot Deal Price is a little pricy.

Course had good pace of play. A lot of sand obstacles and the sand itself was a little rough even though it had been sunny the days leading up. Staff were very friendly and helpful, some of the best I’ve seen. Course would be a little difficult for beginners. My wife and I are somewhat beginners (less than 2 years) and we lost maybe 4 balls total due to high roughs. The club house restaurant didn’t open till 11:00, which isn’t crazy but we were at the turn at 10:30 wanting food/drink. Would definitely go back.

Had a great morning of golf. 7:30 tee time. Played 27 holes in just under 4 hours on a Tuesday.

Fairways nice, most greens were in good shape. Challenging layout but more difficult since there are no hole layouts on the scorecard or tee markers. Fair value at $55 on a Tuesday.
