Cove Cay Golf Club

I could have been more generous on rating the course but the pro shop personnel unfortunately have cast such a dark shadow I find it hard to give more than I have. I have never seen someone so bitter and disrespectful to the customer, especially an elder gentleman who should know better, having this man as the face of your business will have a corrosive effect on your business.

Great layout and good conditions. Busy but great pace of play. Friendly staff and good covid accommodations with distancing, food and beverages, etc.

This is a fun golf course and is in really good shape for the money. The fairways, sand traps and greens are in great shape. Rough is rough and about as good as they get in Florida. Some of the locals were dicks but oh well.

Love this course. It's in very good condition and very challenging. Very narrow fairways which helps me work on my accuracy.

Course is in good shape. Greens were rolling decent even with being punched recently. Wish it was longer but it's a good short track with great par 3's. Better bring snacks if you play the morning. Grill doesn't open till 11am and the pro shop has nada!

I love the location. I love some of the design features (bulkhead bunkers) . I love some of the holes (#4 dogleg left par 5). I love the bay views. However, what I do not love is the fact that some of these holes are no wider than your everyday hallway. Makes the game tough if you’re just a little off. Beware, you must play target golf, not much room for “tee it high and let it fly” golf out here.

Played on a Monday, mid morning as a foursome. Course was in decent shape. Greens rolled relatively true. Fairways were muddy in areas and patchy in others. GPS units had been removed from carts, which made it difficult to navigate blind water hazards. Typical condo-lined Florida course, but perhaps a little tighter than average FL course. No pace of play issues at all. Staff was alright, but certainly nothing exceptional. Overall decent course for the cost, but we wouldn’t go out of our way to play it again.

Really nice track with pretty good course conditions and great layout. Some tight holes with a lot of bunkers and some water. Similar to Westchase in a lot of ways as far as layout. One of my favorites so far. Bar has an awesome view of #18 and the bay in the background. Quick play and not your typical Florida course. I will be back.

This really has a home course type of feel. There are a few bare spots and the tees are 4/5 condition at best on most holes. It’s a really nice course with a nice layout. Always fun to play if the price is right. Not a championship course by any means but a really fun trek.

Cove Cay is a great challenge for every level of golfer, with well protected undulating greens and plenty of water hazards. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the pace of play was fantastic. We played two rounds in just over 3 hours each. I look forward to playing it again!

Played this course before Great course and asthetics are also nice. Enjoyed the day and staff are the friendliest even during these stressful times ..

Standard condo lined course. Greens were in great shape. The fairways need work, a lot of bare lies. Pace of play was fantastic at 7am. Finished 18 in under 3 hours as a threesome. Highly recommend a early tee time. Overall, not a bad value for a last minute round on the weekend.
