Cove Cay Golf Club

I like this course because it has some interesting holes. Greens were in very good shape and consistent. Fairways are in need of water and We’re blacking good grass cover in places. Not surprising for this time of year.overall decent experience. I will play it again.

Challenging course with water on most holes. Staff is awesome!

The course is well laid out for all skill levels. They're currently cleaning up some some tee boxes with stone work for aesthetics. Greens are in great shape and fairways were nice.

The course is very old and in need of major renovations. The cart path are full of ruts and holes. The tee boxes, fairways and most greens need major attention.

With the number of courses available in the area I will not come back to this one again.

The nicest green was 18, and I birdied the hole.

This is a resort style, gimmicky golf course that is in very poor condition. Might possibly be the worst golf course I’ve ever played in Florida. Not sure how this is a country club.

Played here with my son this week and had a good time. The course layout was nice and provided us with a good challenging experience. We started by each getting a large bucket of balls and headed to the range. The range was mats, but was fine. A large putting green was also nice to putt around before our round started. Carts were nice, but the GPS units had been removed and all that was left was a wire and mounting bracket. We were able to play as a twosome and was stuck behind a couple groups of 4, so we waited some at each hole. No opportunity to play through. There was a starter, but we never saw him after we started the round. Pace was ok, we finished 18 holes in just over 4 hours, so not too bad. Beverage cart lady was super friendly. Carts did have coolers on them, so that was a bonus. Would play this again if we make it back to the area.

The tee boxes were bad, the greens were bad. Course was very short. The staff were kind, but I would not recommend this course to anyone.

I course was in much better shape than other years i played the pace of play was good,but the greens were alittle slow.

Played with a nine father and son twosome who were members at Cove Cay!!

They were great to play with as they could share course tips and tricks. Green held well and putted true. Fairways were great too. Great water views of Tampa Bay on the back nine. Will definitely play again!!

Played a nice 4 hour round with a friend and 2 singles. Course and greens are in good shape. Could use a refreshment cart.

The layout was very good and challenging at the same time. Many parts of the fairway could have used some more water and attention, but other than that we had a great time!!

Biggest complaint was pace of play. Even though the course wasn't busy (even on a Saturday morning) the round took nearly 5 hours because our threesome was behind a FIVEsome that was very slow. Waited on every shot on every hole. No one in front of them.

Other than pace, course was fun. Lots of water, but easily avoided if playing well. A little scruffy, but greens were very true
