I paid over 100.00 for 3 players to play 9 holes, they wouldn’t allow me to pay for 18 holes up front, after the first 9 we go back to the to pay for the second nine and find out out I have to pay for the golf cart again. So after saying fine I’ll pay it she tells me it’s 4:30 and we don’t let cart start after 4:00, it’s walking only. Paying over 100 for 9 holes on a corse that poorly taken care of is a complete rip off.
Slow pace, poor maintenance
First and last time I'll play this course. Pace of pay was extremely slow. By the seventh hole we had three groups ahead of us waiting so we just left.
Range like a boss
If you like 50 yards of roll this is the place with the dirt fairways and driving ranges
Very Nice Course!
Fairly surprised when I showed up, wasn’t exactly expecting much, but for the price of this 9 hole course is was awesome. I was happy to be playing with member just because the course is a little confusing to navigate but the conditions were great for fairways, the greens were a little bumpy but still nice, some tee boxes were a little shawty but overall good. Definitely going to play this course many more times!
One of the best public courses in SoCal!
The condition of this course is great! Not great for being a public municiple, just great regardless. I ated like dog water, but it wasn't because of the course conditions lol.
Crappy Condition
This isn’t a course I could recommend to anyone who plays on a regular course. The fairways are crappy and the greens fair. To charge $20.00 for a cart that was in crappy condition for 9 holes is criminal. Surely you can do better than this.
You get what you pay for
Good course for a quick 9 and last min tee time. That said very unorganized. They never have carts available and don't do a great job in scheduling tee times so plan on being here n the course an extra 30-45 min from what you normally play.
Spontaneous tee time availability is very convenient
Unlike most golf courses in the city or county, National City Golf Course is great for last minute same day online booking or walk on tee times. Especially if you just want a quick 9-hole round.
Great course for some exercise and to work on your game
A fun course got it to use all your clubs Good exercise. Greens are OK fairways are in poor shape
