Solid round of golf
Played here a bunch of times over the last several years and seeing the transformation has been well worth the struggles. Golf course is in the best shape I have seen it. Greens are a good test, especially around the tournaments that they host.
The staff is super friendly and very attentive to the needs of their customers.
Greens are pure
Ive been playing here for a couple years now and the course conditions have been getting better and better. The greens roll great and are responsive. Definitely recommend coming out here if you get the chance
Good Course
Pros:
Course has improved a lot over the last 5 years in preparation for hosting tournaments. Greens are usually in great shape. Layout is challenging, a good mix of short and long holes. Most holes are lined with houses and/or bushes on each side, so there’s a good amount of OB potential on errant shots, which keeps things interesting.
Cons:
Not a fan of the “resident card” they implemented, and the range mats are in pretty bad shape and need replacing.
Overall I’d recommend this course.
You won't recognize it A+
I’ve been playing here since it was Eastlake Golf Club, and honestly, it used to be pretty rough. The greens were in bad shape, and the fairways had more weeds than grass. Fast forward to now — Enagic has completely turned this place around.
The greens are smooth and fast, the fairways look great, and overall the course is way better maintained. You can tell they’ve put real effort into bringing it back to life. The pro shop and grill have both been updated too, which makes the whole experience that much nicer.
Their resident program is easy to sign up for and gets you the local rate (similar to Torrey Pines), which is a nice touch.
I’ll definitely be back — this place is back on my regular rotation, and I’m even thinking about joining as a member.
Pace of play is standard. Just depends on who's in front of you. I've finished a round on the weekday in less than 4 hours.
Fantastic Greens and Conditions
Enagic Golf Club has tremendous leadership with Neil Finch at the helm. Tee to green the golf course is in great shape. Greens are lightning fast and smooth. The food is terrific.
We’re always taken care of at Enagic and will be back.
Great Golf Experience
A great public golf course experience in the SD area. Greens are excellent, staff is friendly, and the food in the grill is tremendous! Great value for what is offered.
Awesome golf course
Fun track greens run pure
Highly recommend this course for intermediate and good players
A good round of golf
The course was in great condition. Fairways were like 95% perfect and the greens were challenging but in great shape. The tee boxes were great, very fluffy.
The comment saying the course "was in worse conditions than Chula Vista" is a wildly inaccurate statement....
Overhyped, Poor Conditions
Avoid!! Played muni goat tracks in better conditions. Greens are spongy and slow. Fairways are extremely patchy and some look diseased. Rough has a about 5 different grasses, not consistent at all. Former member from 2007-2013, and the golf course has seen better days. Yes, Enagic put Pro tee boxes in, but for normal golfers we don’t care. I wouldn’t go back there for free. Staff is arrogant, the policy for purchasing alcoholic beverages before the round is ridiculous, the food and beverage manager (or he claimed that was him) is a complete douche.
I will never play here again
First reason- Couse conditions are worse than Chula Vista Municipal. Tee boxes are bad, 220 in the middle of the fairway no grass, bunkers are horrible, filled with water. Not worth the Hot Deal I paid let alone $150.00 for a Friday.
Second reason- My "GPS" cart locked out, said I was in a restricted area. I was actually in a public street intersection between #9 and #10 and was a sitting duck in traffic. Calling the pro shop was zero help. The rest in my group had to go to them to get me another cart. Lost 20 minutes due to this issue and cart kept telling me to keep up with the group in front of me?
No apologies from staff.

Resident pass
Are they trying to be Torrey Pines? Have to pay $40 to get the resident pass so your first round you only save $10 instead of paying the out of town rate. Tee times were way too close together. Teed off 15 minutes late and it didn't get much better with pace of play
Needs work on fairways
The greens keeper or maintenance guy needs to understand about roping off area, what a pain in the rear.
