Much improvement
Play here at least once or twice per year. It started to improve last year and it was greatly improved this season. Traps were much better sand, Greens were full. There is grass which is hard to find in the winter in Florida. Nice new pins. Staff has changed thier attitude as well to a much more friendly atmosphere.
Mostly overly wet after a rain
Many restrictions to remain on cart paths due to an overly saturated course the day before. Used the “no see em” spray sold at the clubhouse but was bitten mercilessly anyways. The course is a jewel if it hasn’t rained previously.
great
people very nice. everything was great. if you,ve never played make the trip up.
champ
the course played well ,greens were slow but balls stuck without leaving big marks and broke true. the coarse played long ,if you golf in the 90's use forward tees
You get what you pay
Nice that they were able to get me out 30-40 minutes ahead of schedule. Course was kind of rough. Greens were slow, very hairy. The rest of the course did not seem very well maintained, Tee boxes were very soft and the grass was cut high. More like the length of a good courses rough. I was a single so I was able move at a good pace until hole 12 when I caught a two some who was behind a foursome. You get what you pay for. Cart and green fees $21 it’s worth that but not much more. I drove 25 miles I would not do it again.
Course was in good condition except there were a lot of low areas that were all mud. Also it was very difficult finding the next hole (very confusing course). Once you are used to the course I guess it wouldn't be a problem.
Wet
While local conditions have been dry the course was very wet. Greens were good but fairways were very soft.
Expected more
Greens were slow played with 3 guys who all shot over 100
We let 2 twosomes play through and then a very rude member foursome play through also after that the starter came out to tell us we were behind absolutely ridiculous he should’ve paired up the twosomes and there wouldn’t have been a problem
Sprinklers stuck in on position for most of back 9 made playing very difficult
Nice day on the course, with few exceptions
Overall the course is in good shape, the only issue was the greens. Though the greens were in good shape they needed to be cut and rolled, when putting the ball would bounce instead of roll making it impossible to get a read. Other then the issue with the greens, the course is in good shape.
