About
The 18-hole, public The Vineyards is situated in the South Jersey Pinelands with beautiful views of orchards and vineyards. The same meticulous care that goes into Renault's award-winning restaurant and winery went into the championship golf course that spans over 7,000 yards.
The designer kept frequent golfers in mind when creating the layout for the course but it won't overwhelm golfers with higher handicaps. There are strategic elements that offer the opportunity for risk and reward. The 1st hole is the signature hole offering a beautiful view of the vineyards. The Vineyards has a yardage of 7,213 playing to a par of 72.

Always a great experience
I always enjoy playing here. Course is challenging but still attackable. Greens were very fast & firm especially for the average golfer. The only problem is had was on the back 9 we had to wait almost every teebox for a group 3 groups ahead that had no one in front of them. Course ranger was out but pace of play hit a stand still after the turn.
NEVER AGAIN
SLOW FRONT 9 - EXTREMELY SLOW BACK 9 WITH ONE FOURSOME HOLDING UP EVERYTHING AND NO MARSHALL OUT THERE TO MOVE THEM ALONG. WENT TO USE THE RESTROOM BETWEEN AT THE TURN AND IT WAS LOCKED UP - THE BAG GUY HAD TO OPEN IT AND SHOW ME WHERE THE LIGHT WAS SINCE IT WAS TOTALLY DARK INSIDE. MADE A CALL AROUND THE 13TH HOLE TO GET A MARSHALL OUT THERE BECAUSE IT WAS GETTING NEAR SUNSET BUT THE PRO SHOP WAS CLOSED. COULD NOT COMPLETE THE ROUND DUE TO DARKNESS AND THE BAG GUY WASN'T TOO HAPPY ABOUT US RETURNING SO LATE. NEVER RECEIVED A RETURN CALL THE NEXT DAY - NEVER AGAIN PLAYING HERE ESPECIALLY PAYING THAT KIND OF MONEY HERE IN SO. JERSEY.
Worth trying
Course has improved dramatically the last two years . Enjoyed it more and more each time I played this season
What an improvement
Used to play here all the time but it had deteriorated so I stopped . Much improved this year with ownership change back in 2018 .
Perfect conditions
I am a senior and was playing with two other family members who are in their 80s. Leading into the round we were concerned about rain in the prior days and the possibility of cart restrictions. We were very blessed by the weather conditions and when we arrived found out that the restrictions that had been in place were lifted. They were not very busy, Perhaps players were staying home to watch the Ryder Cup finals or the Eagles game. Whatever the reason, it worked out great for us. We were not breaking any speed limits with our pace of play and we never waited on a single hole nor were we pushed by any group behind us. The playing conditions of the weather and the course made it very enjoyable.
Always a pleasure
Greens aerated and bumpy hence the 4 stars on course conditions. Aside from that, always love playing here. Kudos to an extremely friendly staff.
Add sand to punched greens
Aereated greens need to have sand filled in the holes completely. Greens were sooo bumpy out there yesterday it was a joke. Take a look at pinelands in hammonton and see how they actually cover the green completely with sand and make it level instead of bumpy. Course is beautiful and I will be back to hopefully to play some fair greens.
Pace too slow
Nice course and friendly staff. However they let a group of 6 non golfers play together including kids. It took 3hrs for 9 holes. The ranger came out and they split for about 2 holes and paired back up again. They're were 4 groups on 1 hole at the same time. We didn't get to finish neither did the 4 groups behind us. We watched group after group just pass us and head in. However I wanted to finish since it was expensive to play. Probably won't play it again and it's ashame.
Beautiful course
This course is beautifully laid out. It also is very high appealing for a golfer while playing the course.
It is rather wide open and plays very well for new golfers.
I will most definitely play again.
