About
Ron Jaworski’s Riverwinds Golf & Tennis Club is situated along a scenic stretch of grassland between the banks of the Woodbury Creek and the deep harbor marina on the Delaware River. Its location gives it the feel of traditional seaside links courses found in Scotland and Ireland, which is further enforced by the sod-wall bunkers that lurk near the greens. The layout features plenty of water and incorporates the surrounding wetlands as well. One unique feature of the golf course is that the routing winds across a mile-long twisting burn, creating a visually interesting setting. Riverwinds begins with a gentle, mostly flat front nine but the mounding becomes more aggressive as you move onto the back. All of the holes face a different direction, which means you’ll most likely be using all the clubs in your bag to tackle the crosswinds and rugged terrain.

First Round at Riverwinds
It was a gorgeous day for my first round at Riverwinds. Thoroughly enjoyed the round. The course is challenging and the wind was really whipping off the river. Conditions were very nice especially in the tee boxes. I hope to come back
Great Hot Deal
Course was in nice shape. Greens still growing in from aeration. Puttable, but a little bumpy. Pace of play was nice for this perfect weather day.
All staff were friendly and attentive.
Will be back is I can score another Hot Deal.
Bumpy greens
This is a good course that plays longer than expected, the greens were aerated and were very bumpy, not filled in with top dressing and rolled, will be a much better play come May.

Great course , but miserable rude lady working the front desk ruins the mood.
Nice course
Long ride but it was worth it
We played with a guy (Tom) who is a regular there so it makes it easier to know where to aim on some of the holes. We’ll have to come back when it’s nicer. Very windy and course was wet from rain on previous day.
1st round at RiverWinds 2025
Frost delay, cart path only, a few tee boxes that seemed “different”, this was our 1st round for 2025. Oh, and we started on the 10th tee, which has its particular challenge of a ditch before the green. Everybody tries but more than a few that I witnessed, failed causing a bit of a back up. We were early to start. By the time we made the turn, there were a few carts waiting to launch at 10. I guess it was a difficult decision for mgnt to make but it did impact the flow a bit.
I gave the “off-site amenities” a 1 because they don’t have a snack area. They did have cart service but nothing at the snack site between the 1st and 10th tee boxes.
I would totally recommend coming here for a round. It’s a challenge but manageable.
