About
Ron Jaworski’s Riverwinds Golf & Tennis Club is situated along a scenic stretch of grassland between the banks of the Woodbury Creek and the deep harbor marina on the Delaware River. Its location gives it the feel of traditional seaside links courses found in Scotland and Ireland, which is further enforced by the sod-wall bunkers that lurk near the greens. The layout features plenty of water and incorporates the surrounding wetlands as well. One unique feature of the golf course is that the routing winds across a mile-long twisting burn, creating a visually interesting setting. Riverwinds begins with a gentle, mostly flat front nine but the mounding becomes more aggressive as you move onto the back. All of the holes face a different direction, which means you’ll most likely be using all the clubs in your bag to tackle the crosswinds and rugged terrain.

Riverwinds
Riverwinds is one of the best public courses in South Jersey. The course is always in great condition including the tee boxes, fairways and greens. Never had a problem with pace of play here, never feel rushed or waiting around for the group in front. Staff is always great and welcoming. You can’t beat the views on this course. Great views of the Philly skyline and the Linc. The island green is also a beautiful view.
Wow!
Wow the experience here is top shelf! From the moment you pull up and they help with your bags to the moment you leave and they clean your clubs. This feels like a fully private course that would be super expensive. Great job everyone! My only hope is that maybe they will start offering hot deals on this app? It’s worth every penny of 125 either way
Very enjoyable course
Visiting from New Zealand I had a great day out here, helped by two friendly locals who I joined up with.
The staff were also very friendly, particularly the starter whose name I didn’t take unfortunately.
Not an overly difficult course, the fairways were wide and the greens not too tightly bunkered.
The course is pretty flat and quite spacious. No really tight shots. The front nine was good, but the back nine was better with some more interesting and testing holes. The island green at 17 was memorable but perhaps a little out of context and a bit of a gimmick. Lack of a clubhouse and any practice facilities also felt a bit odd.
Shouldn’t detract from a very fine course though that was in excellent condition and I had a fabulous day.

By far the best course in the Ron Jaworski network. Great views and layout is great!
RIVER WINDS
Great course, unfortunately for us it was the day after a deluge of rain which required cart path only while we were there. very difficult course to play while cart path only. Even still in really good shape
Nice course
Staff are extremely friendly. Just wish the refreshment cart was around more often. It was really hot that day and we saw her once on the front 9.
