Excellent layout and challenging. Great experience, will play again

This a visually beautiful and difficult course that creates many challenges for all levels of golfers. However after several days of rain this course was soaked and play was made more difficult by drenched fairway turf. This course was unplayable and should have been closed until drier conditions prevailed.

Challenging and fun! Love the design layout and narrow first 5holes. Greens and fairways are in great conditions.

Drove an hour to play the course and the condition of the greens was excellent. Overall conditions were excellent and it was cart path only. It is an extremely difficult piece of property for a golf course and the designer did a great job. First 4 holes are very tight and did not pull out a driver until the 8th. Wind tends to swirl. Had played the near by Bowling green which had liked but this is a better course. Played from the blues and it was a good test of golf.

No course supervision. People playing the Blacks when they should play the Whites. I had 3 - 5 hr rounds and 1- 5hr 20min round this year. Great course great greenskerper. Pooor course management leads to excessive round times. What happened to 4-1/2 hrs

Good value for the round. Decent drive from Manhattan. NO driving range on Thursday mornings before 10am...were told upon arrival that local town residents complain about the mowers, so they shut the range to cut it on Thursday mornings. This is a challenging course, and going in cold made the first 6 holes more difficult than they already are. Try playing a 240 yard par 3 as your second hole after only two full golf swings on the first hole :) Lot of rain the night before meant cart path only which slows play on a hilly course. Definitely coming back, though! Interesting, challenging track. Lots of changing wind angles because of how the forest was cut back! Clubhouse restaurant needs more thought. Normally we stay for lunch after a round, but headed down the road to Taphouse 15 for a decent meal and good craft beer selection.

Great course! Nice layout! However tee times were 5 minutes apart too close causing you to wait on every shot!

Greens were a problem. Aeration process 1 week ago. It needs another week to heal

Really happy with course experience. Very impressed with the layout. Greens were being aerated so I will not comment on green. Pace of play could use work, but I think this has more to do with course layout as opposed to lack of attention by rangers, as I saw them around 4 times during my round. Play conservative in front five holes. Course does open up from 6th to around 14th. I will definitely be back. Driving from nyc is bit of a track, but worth it for me. Friendly staff. Rodger at pro shop and Jim as starter were super nice. Made my first experience felt welcoming.

Staff are great !!!! Play is a little slow due to 3 women in front of us. The course is in great shape.

My third Tim plying this course. Course lay out was much more familiar this time. Simply an awesome course and fantastic lay out!

Definitely will be returning to this great course. The course was in great condition for a public course in early July. Front nine is quite challenging and very scenic, as was the back nine. The scenery on this course is top notch. The course is cheap for the caliber of golf here. Great value!
