Berkshire Valley Golf Course

Course in very nice condition except for all the divots on the greens…what’s up with that..? Otherwise great deal for $38 twilight.

Coarse was in great shape across the board especially the greens fast & flat Beautiful as always . The perfect challenge spread out along 18 holes . You’re missing out if you haven’t played this coarse . And at $52 dallar for county residents it’s a bargain .

Love Berkshire, everything I remember it being the first few times I was here and wish I could play it more often! Layout is great and conditions are always pure.

Course charged us a different rate than what was booked. We reserved for $80 pp, they charged $95 and claimed it was additional fee for holiday. Why wasn’t this added to the GolfNow reservation at booking? Did they decide to upcharge non locals for additional transaction fees and holiday rates at their discretion? Very unethical.

This has got to be one of the prettiest courses in NJ. The first 3 holes run along the ridgeline giving incredible views and the fall colors were starting to show.

The sad part of the story is the way the golfers treat the course. I've never seen a course with so many unrepaired divots and ball marks on the greens. I never saw a single person fix either while playing. You may say it's the greens keepers job but from the looks of some of the holes you'd need a keeper behind every foursome.

At the end of the round I said something to the pro shop manager who simply shook his head in disappointment.

So sad to see such a beautiful course be treated soooooo badly.

I will go back again but I'll take a couple of extra sand bottles to try to fill some extra marks.

Course was in fantastic shape. Greens were some of the fastest I've played. Always blown away that this is a public course. Always a treat.

Course has great potential but people don't fix divots or ball marks so the tee boxes and fairways are a mess.

I like the course and I think is one of the best in the area. First 5/6 holes are spectacular, but in general the lay out is very nice.

Also price is fair for such a course.

What I did find not acceptable is that I played at 6:30 and greens were not wiped out so basically I finished my round at 10:20 with greens still wet and slow. So my suggestion if you want to play the course and enjoy proper greens is to get an afternoon tee time
