Enjoyable round
Found the course condition and greens better then expected. Dry condions have made many area courses rough but Spruce Creek was in good shape.

Nice all around course
Course was nice and well laid out. Play was a little slow and a ranger would have helped a little to speed things up. All around course was pretty nice and well kept in a beautiful setting. Sure we will play it again, one of the better courses in the area.

Did not known this course. The back nine is really tough if you never played it before. Fast green. Fairways good. Friendly people

Spruce Creek
Very challenging course. The back nine was harder with a lot more water. Friendly staff and golf pro.
Great value. Pace of play was great. Our foursome played in 3.5 hours.

Unfriendly staff: Do not like Golf Now users
We have played this course numerous times over the past six years and found it to be a fun course. It's in good condition this year, but our experience this time was very negative. We have always booked directly with the pro shop, but this time decided to take advantage of a good rate offered on Golf Now - big mistake. It was rainy with thunderstorms on the day we booked, and the golf pro was not willing to work with us. He stated that the club received no money for the Golf Now bookings, so we either played in the rain/thunderstorm or lost our money. Due to all the rain, there was no one on the entire course when we arrived at 10am except for 2 groups of 3 just going out. With rain imminent we asked if we could start on the back 9, but were told no, so had to follow the 2 groups. We waited on every shot for the 6 holes we were able to play before the lightening caused us to quit. Needless to say, we will neither return to this course nor recommend it to our golf friends as long as the current staff works there.
