Course needs work
Don’t know if this course was affected by Hurricane Ian, but it’s not in good shape. Many of the tee boxes were uneven dirt. Many of the greens were in bad shape as well. Pro shop worker delivered less than friendly greeting. Can’t recommend course until a lot of things improve.

Very difficult
Rough is miserable cause it is so long but sparse and the dirt is compact. So the ball just falls straight the canopy cover into the hard dirt below. Very hard to find and even harder to hit out. Bunkers are concrete patches. Greens are half sand and half grass.
I also think the course is so difficult for no reason but that’s just subjective. Water everywhere, wildly narrow holes, bunkers placed bery aggressively. Again just personal preference but the first paragraph stands.

Long day
Loved the course and staff very friendly ,girl in snack shak delightful,cart girl on it all day great service,golf shop guy Mark very helpful,,un fortunately played behind a very slow 4 some for 16 holes ,taking extra shots extra putts,had the feeling they were members and it was their course

Conditions
Effects of Ian. R obvious but not to b overcome. 8th hole had the most wetness. In fact holes that have been wet for years were dry due to preventive measures. Greens were fair due to
aeration
Course was generally good shape

Course is coming back nicely from IAN
The course is drying out from from Ian - only the 8th fairway is not being used. The course is in very good shape considering the wet weather of the past two weeks. Come out and support this great facility.,Greens / fairways / tee boxes are all in great condition. Definitely recommend playing Spruce Creek.
Great as always!
This is my 3rd time visiting. Course conditions great as always. Green ms are coming back great after aeration. My only complain is that I wished they notified or announced that the front 9 were closed.
