Nice day at Spruce Creek

Beautiful day with the course in great shape. Bunkers are mostly hard from rains but greens were rolling quick and true. The fairways are also in good shape and it’s always a fun day with the planes coming in and out of the airport. This course is one of my favorites.

One of my favorite courses

After discovering this hidden gem a few months ago, I play here almost every weekend now. The course is challenging with strategic bunker placement throughout, along with hazards that require proper club selection as well as accurate tee shots. Plenty of risk reward opportunities along with some of the truest greens in the area. As someone who has access to plenty of great options in Central FL., this has definitely become one of my top 5 courses to play. The staff here is always great and the amenities are top notch.

Questionable scheduling!!

When we book a tee time at Spruce Creek we normally have an enjoyable day. Upon arrival we noticed quite a few High School golfers playing on the course. I inquired in the pro shop and they informed me that there was a HS tournament being played. Why wasn't the course closed for the tournament? The play was extremely slow!! What normally takes 3 1/2 hours to play took well over 5 hours to play. The kids have a right to play golf but the course management should have the sense not to

schedule other golfers out at the same time! We like the course but this experience was very disappointing!!

Way to slow

The pace of play was horrible on the back nine. Took over 2 1/2. Waiting 30 mins on 16. Not a fun way to play.

Worse golf outing ever.

Golf course management was not truthful with me about a kids golf tournament today. We had to wait 25 minutes on each tee box. Golf course staff was not helpful. I will never book on this course again.
