Spruce Creek Review
Only two complaints. 1. The greens were recently aerated and that was not disclosed on the website or I would have waited two more week to play the course. 2. A threesome jumped ahead of us at the turn and played slow. They needed to start on the first hole and NOT #10.

Cool Airport Vibe
Members had the first tee, the twosome that I was to be paired with wasn’t there on time - so the member group (foursome) let me go off first. The layout is interesting in that there is a tale of two sides, land and water with visuals of airplanes in the air and backyards.
Score where you can and play what you see - the par threes and be intimidating if you try to take them for an easy birdie, you can walk off licking your bogey wounds. The par fives I’ve found risk/reward with most of the pins set with bunker protection.
The greens are what I’d call a putters paradise as they rolled true for a lag putter and they are in great shape.
The round was completed in 2.15 hours thanks to the members giving up the first tee of the day - I was on the beach in Daytona by 9:30am.
I would play this track again as we all think that we left a couple of shots out there - the staff was pleasant as well.

Not bad for $55 bucks on a Friday morning
The course is what you’d except for $55 bucks, fairways are full, greens have minimal bad spots. Fairly short depending on which tees you play. You for sure have to place some shots on certain holes. Back side had a lot more hidden hazards you couldn’t see from tee box. Shot a 79 with a few errant tee shots on the back. Fun course that makes you not use driver every hole.

First time playing Spruce Creek - will be back!
First time I played Spruce Creek; it is a very good course in excellent condition. A bit challenging with some narrow fairways and water but a very fair course. Fairways and greens were in excellent condition. Staff was friendly; pace of play excellent. Lots of water, even an ice machine, on the course.

Great course great deal
I’m new to the area and ive played a few courses. For the Golf Now hot deal price; you can’t beat this. LPGA is the only course I’ve played locally that is definitively nicer, but that’s to be expected. Even at full price, playing here would be worth it!
