Enjoyable layout
Enjoy playing this course & consider it one of my favorites.. They are doing a good job maintaining the course.& always find the staff to be helpful & friendly.

Poor Customer Service
Nice track. Good greens, forward tees are brand new (couldn’t put a tee in the ground...mesh underneath?). The other tees were beat badly.
You will get treated like a 2nd class citizen here. Pro shop has no idea what they are doing. They bumped many groups back with members. Blamed it on damage to the greens by some kids. There was nothing wrong with any of the greens. They were allowing members to go out whenever they felt like it. There were no carts. They said there was a delay and had to do a shotgun start in the beginning of the day. That should not have held up the course one hour. They wouldn’t tell us anything.. While you were patiently for carts to come off the green, one of 4 that finished 18 had an available cart. The other 3 were members in their own cart. If you asked about it, the manager snapped at you. There is no excuse for that period. . They made it like it was our fault, made us stand there in the heat. Could have offered us a cold drink on the house like most clubs would do. There was one guy getting the carts (working). The other 3 stayed in the Airco pro shop and didn’t keep you updated. The most disorganized course ever. Nobody was updating you. Course was far from perfect. The traps were inconsistent and often had dirt harder than the dirt cart paths. Bad experience, on the way driving out we saw the Club at Venetian Bay. Checked out there reviews and the first thing we saw was how nice the staff was. That course looked perfect from the 4 or 5 holes we could see. One and done at Spruce Creek. Pro shop needs some basic training, ownership needs to look into this. There are a lot of people looking for jobs these days. Bad service can be “fixed”.
This is on the guys in the shop, they took zero responsibility for making this an unfortunate day. A guy coming off the course while we were waiting said “this place sucks”. Sorry if we hurt anyone’s feelings. In the year of COVID, you need to give as good a customer experience as possible, or they won’t come back. Good luck.

Nice Course, Overpriced
I thought the fees were a little high since many of the tee boxes were under repair.
