Spruce Creek Country Club

Course and staff were very nice. Only problem we had was the Golf No app confirmed with me that we had a reservation but it didn’t go through to the course pro shop and we had to wait an hour to get out golfing. Not happy with the wait but enjoyed the round a the course.

I arrived, was met by a guy on a cart, super friendly got me set up on a cart, told me I am matched up with a couple of guys, just check in with pro shop guy(I know his name) maybe off day, he was confused, attempting to figure out some mistake, I looked around shop for a bit, figured I am pre-paid how tough can it be . Anyway gives me this slip to make sure I hold onto to provide to starter . Wow no starter…few members head out, I ask them there time as looked like a good group….not the same time, then someone else joins them. So two minutes before my time I go back to shop to see if the guys I am playing with have checked in yet…..Ooooops you you were supposed to play with that group…..but the Tee is free you can go by yourself….Thats enjoyable . I get it every one makes mistakes. saving grace the guys in front asked if I wanted to join on 9 Tee after a 2 and a half front…..they were waiting as well. Other guy dropped out, they were good guys. In my mind this was avoidable.

Booked for 12:37 ! Got there and was told it was booked for 1:00. They changed the time. Course was way overbooked and catered to there members. Almost a five hour round. Went to there clubhouse for drinks and apps. After being seated we were told the restaurant was only open to members. Had to leave. Needless to say we were not very happy after a very long day.

A very playable course in nice condition. Greens were in excellent shape while tee boxes were a little chewed up. Small aircraft and their noise is present throughout but still a fun round of golf.

Upon arrival I was informed a member tournament was being played. I was told to go putt or something and I would be called. Had to go back into pro shop and ask if I could proceed to the first tee, 15 minutes after my tee time. Oh yea, I guess so was the response. Proceeded to the first tee, terrible condition and basically no yardage markers visible. Starter nope! Course ranger non existent I could go on and on. After two hours and forty minutes standing on the 11th tee I called it! I have plans for Christmas. I would have given one star but the restaurant staff way friendly and attentive. This is the first review I have ever written but was so extremely disappointed.

Course is in great shape considering we are barely 2 weeks out from major hurricane. Staff has done an excellent job of repairing and cleaning up damage.

Would like to see the cart paths paved.

Great golf course design. Great for all levels of players. Courss fairways course use a little more watering, many fairways were very thin with grass. Still, a great layout and fun to play.

Staff including cart girl Destiny was fantastic…next time I play I owe you a big tip!

Course runs through Spruce Creek Fly In. It’s always an adventure watching planes takeoff and land. Not the typical back-and-forth course. This course moves around the entire neighborhood. What makes it fun! greens are in good shape and roll good. Some of the tee boxes could use some TLC! Will play here again!
