Royce brook
Tee boxes greens in good shape fairways nicely kept. Bunkers are more like pools. But I think there shutting this course down soon its been sold to a developer
I’m a 3 handicap, course was very nice ! Loved the green, greens were very consistent and fast!
Sub par course conditions
Only Paid $50 per person for the round BUT the muni courses around me are this same price range and are in MUCH better condition. This course had NO sand in any of the bunkers, was all rocks & some mud, several holes were under renovation, which is fine but nothing was said about this when round was booked, or when we checked in. Couldn't even play one hole b/c there were workers all over the green yet there was no sign saying hole was closed or giving any direction. Not much of a food menu available in the restaurant either.
Nice course and nice holes
I had fun at Royce Brook, nice course and lay out. They have a lot of bunkers. Course conditions for April 14 were good considering we had a ton of rain in Feb/March/April and the course drained well except for some of the bunkers. I will go back soon and I really want to play this course when it is warm and it's mid season. I will rate it a 4.7 out of 5.
GO ELSEWHERE
Booked last minute on a Sunday and this was all that was left. Now I see why. The course (tees/fairways/greens) is in decent shape EXCEPT THE BUNKERS. EVERY TRAP is not sand…they are lakes. And if there wasn’t water in them they were a combination of dirt, mud, and weeds. I heard they were selling the east course to build houses so I guess that means the maintenance budget is zero. Charging $100 is criminal!!! GO ELSEWHERE
730 fun
Played on Sunday 4/7. The course was in great condition considering the amount of rain we got the week before. The car paths need to of work. I see some green work and bunker work being done. Will be back again.
Bunkers or lakes
I was excited to play this course since I have not played it in years and they usually have nice fairways. Exited hitting off the first tee a couple of the guys went into what we thought were bunkers, they ended up being filled with water all of them and these things were deep. Your ball goes in it’s rare you are getting it out or even seeing it. The course was in such bad condition from bunkers to tee boxes to the uneven ungroomed greens. A nice day turned into a stressful one and for $79 I was really disappointed. I played multiple courses through the winter that were not in this and of shape. They have a lot of work to do
