About
Delray Beach Golf Club is the championship sister course to the executive Lakeview Golf Club, which is located less than a mile away. It is also less than three miles from downtown Delray Beach. Opened in 1926, Donald Ross designed the layout and over the years, touring professionals on their way to Miami have made it a habit to stop and play the classic design. Its still-growing popularity is a testament to the quality of the round. It provides a quick round that can be played in just over 4 hours but it still offers enough challenges for low handicappers. There is very little water coming into play but with the strategic bunkering that is abundant throughout the course, water features will hardly be missed. The club also has a reputation for being one of the most well maintained public courses in the area as well.

Service somehow got worse
I played here when I first moved down a little over a year ago and could not have been unhappier with the experience. Decided to give them another chance and played it again earlier this month. I will not be returning. The staff might be the rudest and least helpful I’ve ever dealt with, the course is decent but pace of play sucked and did I mention the staff is horrible.
First time...and we'll be back!
Very friendly clubhouse staff and starter, very nice driving range, and the course was in very good condition. It's a beautifully laid out course, wide and forgiving. We really enjoyed our (first time) round, and will definitely be back.

Fairways need work, greens weee in decent shape. Always liked tbe course layout. Just another city course that is barely maintained

Delray Golf
Course is very dry, needs water badly. Some greens are in rough shape and running slow . Price is indicative of the conditions so no real complaints.

Needs work.
First off I will say the staff were friendly, the course was in really rough shape except maybe the bunkers. While they weren’t manicured, the sand was fine. The worst part were the greens. Spotty burn spots, very sandy and very slow. They were just really bad. Fairways were a little better but not by much. With the amount of courses in Florida this one should be towards the bottom of your list.

Shaggy greens.
Used to have the fastest greens in PBC-now shaggy and sand strewn.

Great course for the average golfer.
Had a lot of fun. We played the whites, the fairways were wide, greens approachable, rolled pretty good. Traps in great shape. Staff very friendly. Playing again next week.

The course was beat up and there was no water that worked to be had. Overall not worth the effort

Better
The course was in bette shape than the last time I played and the new carts were great. I just wish the groundskeepers would pay more attention to the areas around the bunkers which are terrible. Kill the weeds and plant some grass in the bear spots.
