About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Course condition
The course was in terrible condition. All but 2 greens were green sanded. There were 2 4 some ahead of us that were so slow and backing up the entire course. No ranger came out to speed them up.
Friendly staff but Tee boxes are Sandboxes!
Play here quite regularly as it's close to home and easy to get a Tee Time....can play 18 in just over two hours...always super friendly staff....just a small putting area.. the Tee boxes on almost every hole are in terrible shape and all but two don't have any grass whatsoever! The green on hole 8 is in very bad shape as well....full course but a few challenges and obstacles!
Great place to play
My wife enjoy playing here as it provides us with all the challenges we need. We are not fantastic golfers and do not need pristine courses so this course suits us fine. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommended
Fix the greens!!!
could be a really fun venue, if the city would invest in better greens. Delaraybeach is now renovating its main course. When done, they should invest in Lakeview.
Horrible Greens
The greens have many different patches of grass and sand. They have really gone bad after the attempts to improve last fall
Another fast round
Have hit it lucky lately on pace of play. It makes play so much more enjoyable when you can play with very little delay on numerous holes. It would be fantastic if all golfers could move or speed up their play to keep up with groups ahead.
Fay on the Greens
Price was affordable, course layout is great for beginners and not seasoned golfers. The course is not well groomed, challenging in many spots.
Totally surprised
My wife and I played with tee time of 1 pm and we breezed through this course in less than 2 hours which took us by surprise, one of the very few times we were not held up by slow pace of play. This made it very enjoyable. Kudos to Steve & Alex for keeping things moving along
nice course
Unable to play all 18 holes because course was backed up. Finished 9 holes and quit.
Frustrating to wait so long to play next shot. Loose your rhythm.
