Delray Beach Golf Club
About
Delray Beach Golf Club is the championship sister course to the executive Lakeview Golf Club, which is located less than a mile away. It is also less than three miles from downtown Delray Beach. Opened in 1926, Donald Ross designed the layout and over the years, touring professionals on their way to Miami have made it a habit to stop and play the classic design. Its still-growing popularity is a testament to the quality of the round. It provides a quick round that can be played in just over 4 hours but it still offers enough challenges for low handicappers. There is very little water coming into play but with the strategic bunkering that is abundant throughout the course, water features will hardly be missed. The club also has a reputation for being one of the most well maintained public courses in the area as well.

Would not recommend
Conditions here were not very good. Greens were patchy and very slow. They had the women's tees on the fringe of the fairways, an average of 100 yards in front of the green tees.Fairways were patchy at best, you had to find some grass to hit off of. I will not be returning,
Bad Greens
Love the course layout and being able to walk was a plus for me, however the greens are in terrible shape and need to be redone.
A nice afternoon
Greens are starting to come back a little but need a lot of work.Very difficult to putt but most people that play there know that pace of play was slow on front
always liked the course but the greens are close to unplayable. fairways are ok bunkers are good. cannot recommend this course until the greens are improved.
Better condition than last month. Few days of rain really helped.
Very nice course, but terrible shape.
This is a very nice Donald Ross course that is in terrible condition.
It gets a tremendous amount of play because it’s affordable, but the fairways and especially the greens are practically unplayable.
Donald Ross
Course seemed slow but wr finished in 4 hours.

Poor conditions
First time playing this season. Worst condition I’ve ever seen there. The rough is all weeds. The fairways have weeds and bare spots. The greens are atrocious. Multiple bare spots. The only thing in good shape are the sand traps.
