Lakeview Golf Club
About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Ranger let me down
There were about 7 groups playing this morning and a group of 4 had everyone backed up beginning with the 6th hole to where t groups on each tee box for the rest of the round. What upset us most was that the ranger drove through and past the slow foursome on three occassions during the round and never once stopped and talked to the slow four some.
First time
Nice course .greens are in good shape ,staff are freindly.little bit slow but expected at this time of year.will be back for sure
There was a foursome that was holding up pace of play from the 6th hole on. Most of times had 2 groups waiting on the tee boxes. There were several open holes ahead of the foursome. The biggest disappointment is that the ranger drove by them 3 different times through out the round and did not stop and say anything to the foursome.
Much improved
This course was a disaster last year and the maintenance team has really turned this place around. There have been many improvements in the greens and all around the course.
Nice executive
This course is a decent executive. Good value for the money. Great for iron play and beginners.
work being done on the tee boxes....most boxes are temporarily shortened by 20-30 yards,,, for an executive course that is a lot...before they are finished the work don't bother going there...
Really small
This course is super small and we had to play from even closer than the original tees because of construction when the tee boxes were nice to play off. Really small course not fun when it’s below 100 yards a lot of holes
Now I know why it’s cheap
Course was in rough shape. That includes the greens
Short course, made shorter by tee box adjustments
Our round was cheap with golf now deals, so… worth the money. Tee boxes were all moved, making most holes crazy short, and greens were in rough shape. It was a fun, low pressure round; if you go in with low expectations, you won’t be disappointed. Staff was perfectly friendly and other golfers were low key. A good course for beginners or to work on irons and chipping.
