About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

For the money, fun course to play.. the only thing is the greens are very ruff and long.

Greens terrible
Nice layout with mix of 3s and 4s. The greens were far from acceptable would guess they'd register a 2 or 3 on the stimp meter. Several of the Tee boxes were more like sand traps

Lots of potential!
Fun Executive Course with a friendly staff. Course needs some TLC. But it is obvious that investment is being made to improve the playing conditions. Greens likely need aeration and eventually to be cut shorter. It would be nice to have snacks available at the turn and/or a cart riding around with refreshments. Both would be great opportunities to boost revenues. All in all a great time and value!

Fairview GC.
Very nice par 60 course. Fairways are in good shape. Grass on the greens is long, bumpy and not regular "green" grass. Course was fun to play except for the greens.
Could have been better
Greens were very rough. Not much of a pro shop. I would say the biggest thing was the fact we abided by the rules and left our little cooler in the car. There were not any refreshments sold on the course, outside of 1 soda machine. Not sure I would play here again.

Horrible never come. Staff is horrendous, all have attitudes and blame the customers.

Worst greens in Florida
We love the course, the layout, the employees, and the value that Lakeview provides, but for some reason they cannot grow grass on the tees and greens. They closed 5 greens in the fall and replanted them, yet 3 months after they are back open they are either dead(#2) or full of large patches of sand and inconsistent grass. Almost all tees are like playing in a sand trap, with little to no grass.
They have made many great improvements with tree removal, new plantings, and improved cart paths. I wish they could fix the greens!

again. Poor greens
The staff was nice and competent. Pace of play was perfect. However the greens were horrible. They had bare spots ,very bumpy , where there was grass it needed mowed. Probably will not play there again.

Excellent for the Price
Very few affordable courses are left in SE Florida especially in the winter season. Grateful we can still play the game we love.
For the boys
So first off NO personal coolers and drinks allowed. This is the first thing I look for when golfing. Aside from that, overall it’s a nice course hut beware there are NO PAR5s just 4s and 3s.
