About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Swing and Sway
For an executive course it is very good. I like to go there because I can use a wide variety of clubs to practice with.
One complaint is that the tees and greens need work if not for that I would rate the course higher.
Lack of communication
The starter did not tell us that a tournament was scheduled at 3 pm. We were rushed rudely at the 18th.
They should had tell us before the game.
Dirt greens
Pretty nice layout for a short course, but most of the greens are dirt and not puttable. Only issue with the course, everything else is in good condition but the greens make it tough to play there for anything more than $25

Horrible Greens
It had been years since I played a round at Lakeview. I was very disappointed at the dismal condition of the greens. Some more than 50% dirt. I will not be returning until this is addressed.

Just OK
The greens were in terrible condition. The fairways appears to be dormant. The holes were fun but the conditions were not good. I played there on a Golf Now hot deal so I wasn't upset. If the conditions had been better I would've really enjoyed it.

Greens
Have all temporary greens been removed because when I played 9 holes with my grandson about a month or so age on the front there were 3 temporary greens

GREAT little executive course…
I would just like to see that greens be in a little better shape. Very tough to get longer putts to role true. Otherwise by far my favorite executive course in the area. Love that I’ve never been out there over 3 hours!!

I’ve been playing there once a week for over 10 years. The course is in great shape with new greens.

Upgrading the course but ...
Played this course several years ago. Swore would never return but did to seeing significant investments in trying to upgrade the course. The greens have many ruddy areas though. Not sure how they are going to fix that. But to play 18 in 2 hours is a good escape no matter what. The woman GM seems a bit grumpy too employees.
