About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

interesting layout, some risk & reward holes, but, greens are unputtable

Lakeview Golf
The course was in much better shape than the last time I played here. There are many greens that are in rough shape, but the fairways are in pretty good shape. The reason I keep coming back is that all of the staff are so nice, positive and friendly. I’m sure that with the work that’s going on now to fix/ rectify some of the negatives, will result in a much better course

Great course to practice your iron play.
I had a fun time even though I was playing alone.
It is a great little executive course, but tees and greens need urgent tending and loving care.

Really bad shape, not worth the money
This course, especially the greens, is in pretty bad shape. The greens are basically unplayable, I would recommend avoiding playing here especially at $25-30 a round. Much better courses out there for the same price.

Great course
My wife and I enjoy playing this course. Being snowbirds & recreational golfers provides us with all challenges we need. Pace of play can be improved upon. Great staff & very friendly
Won't be playing here again
Have played here several times because we like the length and layout. Conditions of the course continue to deteriorate rapidly. The greens are almost as much dirt as grass. We were the only players on the course, but that didnt stop them from continuously watering the tee boxes as we approached the holes. Why wouldn't they wait for us to pass and water BEHIND us? Doesnt make any sense!. Also some staff members are not very nice.

Starter is a complete jerk. Takes job too seriously for that low budget of course. Telling people we’re to breath or even stand. Do better

Fun short course with the worst greens
We only go here for a quick round or with the kids. Greens and tee boxes are terrible but it’s a fun course other than that.

Off road putting
Tee boxes and greens were absolutely destroyed and more than 1/2 covered in sand. When you tried to putt the ball would zig zag and hop on the bumpy terrain.

Good bang for your buck
We’re new golfers so easy layout to follow. Course is great to work on your short game. Putting green right by the first hole. No cart girl when we went. Aerating greens so most greens were not great.
A fun challenge for mature, junior and new golfers.
It was a fun course full of mainly par 3 holes and few par 4’s to challenge you. The nature on the course was also great to see. The greens could have been better presented but it was a fun challenge and we flew round in roughly 2 1/2 hours in a 2 ball. A 2 ball of ladies kindly let us tee off before them and a 4 ball of guys also let us ply through in hole 12. My son and I had fun playing the course.
