About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

great value & staff, short but challenging layout, greens need a LOT of work
Pace of play
Enjoy playing this course even though it’s not pristine but great for amateurs like myself. Controlling pace of play needs to be addressed Friendly staff
Continually a solid exec course
Had a chance to take a close friend who has played maybe 6 rounds ever and none since 2022 out. We managed to go out just us two with no one behind us until the 17th. This allowed him to hit an extra shot or two here and there and try some things. Some of the greens are a little rough but overall for price and being able to hit some clubs I wouldn’t get a chance to on some regular courses it’s a solid course!
Great for bogey players
Enjoy playing this course based on our level of golfing. Course can use some TLC, it is great for us bogey players Pace of play appears to be an ongoing concern. This is great place to play if you don’t have deadlines to meet

No Carts
Upon arrival we were told that we'd have to walk the course as it was in no condition for carts. Called another course and booked times immediately that had use of carts. It was raining several hours before my tee time so for the course to still not be in a condition for carts leads me to believe irrigation is terrible.

Short and not very good but cheap
Almost all holes are par 3s. Course isn’t in very good shape. Fun little course for cheap but not very well taken care of. Slow too. No ranger to move the group who never played golf before.

Great executive course
This course is always great to play for non scratch golfers. It can use TLC on whole course. Pace of play can always be improved. Mos golfers should be reminded on playing this course of golfing etiquette. Most golfers ether are not aware of this or are totally overlooking these practves

Sand Tees
The course starts out evenly paced but eventually you will get backed up as groups go out one after another with no delay. The greens change between fast and slow which is so much fun. The Tees are practically sand from over use. the layout does squeeze in 18 holes albeit you may want to wait until the group ahead clears the Tees immediately behind your green lest you overshoot. All in All I would recommend this course for improving short game and do plan to play there again. For the dollar amount I would say this course is worth playing, be patient since the average hole is only 100-120 yards.
