About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

I enjoy, BUT
Greens are awful. Can't execute a straight putt. Fairways are not good

Great course
Always enjoy playing this course even though could use more TLC & to look into improving pace of play. Great course for my type of play
Don't waste your money
The course could be enjoyable if the grass to weed ratio wasn't 50/50. Not only fairways but greens too. Tees are beat up and bunkers need sand. You'd think being so close to the ocean sand wouldn't be a consideration. I've played this course occasionally for years and watched the steady deterioration. This last visit will be my last.

great value & staff, short but challenging layout, greens need a LOT of work

Continually a solid exec course
Had a chance to take a close friend who has played maybe 6 rounds ever and none since 2022 out. We managed to go out just us two with no one behind us until the 17th. This allowed him to hit an extra shot or two here and there and try some things. Some of the greens are a little rough but overall for price and being able to hit some clubs I wouldn’t get a chance to on some regular courses it’s a solid course!
Great for bogey players
Enjoy playing this course based on our level of golfing. Course can use some TLC, it is great for us bogey players Pace of play appears to be an ongoing concern. This is great place to play if you don’t have deadlines to meet

No Carts
Upon arrival we were told that we'd have to walk the course as it was in no condition for carts. Called another course and booked times immediately that had use of carts. It was raining several hours before my tee time so for the course to still not be in a condition for carts leads me to believe irrigation is terrible.
