About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Over 2 hours to play front 9 which is fine for a championship length course but for an executive course is ridiculous.
Fun time
My family and I played this course a few weeks ago. Did not really know what to expect. Reviews I saw were pretty mixed. But, our experience was great!! We had a wonderful time playing there. Great place to work on your short game. And the cost wasn't expensive. Especially since i was paying for the whole party. Greens were rough, but certainly didn't affect anything!! Made putting more interesting!! We found the staff absolutely amazing!! Smiling and joking and just loving what was going on! They made it so we could relax and not stress about about anything! Since it is a small 18 hole executive course, bring plenty of drinks with you, there is no turn. We had so much fun that my wife and I are planning a return trip shortly!

Booked online for one hot deal showed up at Course 10 minutes prior to my t time woman at the counter insisted I’d booked for 2 and owed $68 I said I booked for one and I’d paid online to golf now for $22 she wouldn’t acknowledge the email receipt I had from golf now and said I could play but had to pay $34 even after showing her I’d paid in full
I will never go back there even though it’s 10 minutes from my house
Beyond horrible
Even for a low price, this course was well below expectations. Just horrendous.

It was a bit on the warm side. For this time of year I expected it to be cooler. The course wasn’t crowded so we zipped through. Always enjoy playing here. The staff is the nicest. Play here all year round.
Bad field conditions
I knew it was a par 60 but I thought it was in better condition. In addition, the attention of the Ranger was terrible. We asked him on a par 4 how far it was to the water and he said 210 yards (if he reaches the water I'll give him a ball, he told us) I shot a 5 iron and went into the water (the ranger disappeared) because the reality was that there was 150 yards. Some fairways were literally dynamited, and the greens were so wet and high that the ball hardly ran. A disappointment.-

Nice place to play early Tee!
If your short game needs work, this is a place to go, friendly staff and excellent serve overall. Car paths need lots of work! The greens are fair in the front 9 the back are fast. Lots of challenges to keep you focused and enjoyable people to play if you are a single player. Will definitely play the course again.
Hole in One
Awesome beautiful lake views especially when sun was setting. My friend got his first hole in one on hole 5. My first time ever seeing one in person. Right after missing an Eagle on hole 4
Happy day
I expected the course to be crowded this time of year. So far so good. It isn’t. So the pace of play is very good. I’m sure this will change after the holiday. I will say I’m spoiled because I play there all year. The course is perfect for me. Th e staff is great.
Always enjoyable
Being a snowbird have always enjoyed playing this course & looking forward to returning in January. My only concern is pace of play, wish they had a ranger to move slow groups along. Staff continues to be very friendly.

city owned course so maintenance could use a bump, greens are patchy, fairways are mostly good with a sandy island on occasion, good value, staff is great, short but challenging little course with a few risk/reward holes.
Two ladies and a golf cart
We decided to start the winter off with a warm up at Lakeview. It's an executive course with lots of par 3's, and a few par 4's stuck in for good measure. It was relatively easy course, with two or three challenging decisions...hit over or up to the water. The signage was not that good, and once we got confused where to make the turn. It seems like there were carts all over on the 1st 9. The back 9 was much better. It's a recommended course to get back into the groove.
