About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Great course
My wife and I are both seniors and this course suits us fine. Shooting our age is terrific for us both and the challenges the course offers is great

Snowbird
Have arrived to FL a a snowbird & anxious to set up a tee time in a couple of days to play this course. My wife & I enjoy playing here & seeing the staff
Not much to see here
The course was in really rough shape. Wouldn’t consider playing there again unfortunately
Could be fun being an executive course but just not what I expected
Good course but falls short of expectations
We played with beginners thinking it will provide them a good opportunity to get a feel of playing on the course. It has par 3s and some par 4s which can provide a nice experience. The course conditions however could be improved to reach its potential. The fairways could have been maintained better and the greens were too slow. Swarm of insects hovering around didn’t help. If maintained better, it can be a lovely course for a fast round of golf or for beginners to learn.

Always a Pleasure
Lakeview is not the longest, plushest, or fanciest place around. However, it is a great executive course in excellent condition. The layout challenges you to hit every club in the bag, The staff is always pleasant and helpful. Alex, the starter today, was new to me but we immediately struck up a conversation and he took care of everything. I keep coming back so it must be a place I enjoy being.
Lakeview
We always like to play here but on 8/14 it was really buggy for whatever reason. Like you couldn’t go 3 seconds without bugs buzzing in your ear/mouth/etc. Maybe it’s the time of the year, I’m not sure. But there were a lot of distractions. The course was extremely backed up as well. There were like 11 people in a 30 minute tee time window behind us, so the people were pestering us a lot, even though the people in front of us were slow. We were following the pace of play.

Is pest control prioritized? It’s tough and frustration to play with bugs in your face all day.

You get what you pay for
This course is just what you need when you want to practice your short game and still have some challenges. There are a couple tough par 3s and most other holes are good enough to get rewarded for good shots. The price is just about right for the course.
A nice Executive course
Let's face it, a summer round in south Florida isn't going to be packed. I went out as a single sandwiched between a 3some and 2some. I played here several times during the winter. Good short game practice.
Fun Time
Even though it is brutally hot, the past two weeks there has been a delightful breeze so it has’nt been unbearable. The greens were aerated a couple of weeks ago so the greens are in great shape. As for pace of play it’s been great. Finished 18 holes in an hour and a half. What could be better? Love playing in the summer

Nice if you’re working on distance w/your irons
I’ve played here several times before. It’s nice if you want work on distance control for short and mid irons, but it was in terrible condition.
