About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Review of LAKEVIEW golf coursd
Very reasonable price for 18 holes with a cart. Staff exceptionally friendly. Course. has shade and trees for hot summer golf. Not overly difficult for a medium to high hanicapper

Terrible Greens and sparse fairways
The course is not maintained properly. The greens have crabgrass and are super slow and the fairways are sometimes sparse. They need to spend more money on fertilizer. The layout is nice.
Slow play
We play here once a week. Usually it is a very pleasant experience. This week it was awful.. They put a very nice gentleman with us. There were 2 woman in front of us that were very slow. We noticed s walker behind us and asked him if he’d like to join us to make a foursome. He joined us . Having made a foursome really didn’t matter. We caught up to the two woman at every hole . After awhile there wasn’t anyone in front of them. So we skipped a couple of holes and then we just moved along. They saw we were on top of them at every hole. It would have been nice if they asked us if we’d like to play through.
Lakeview is great course for quick round of golf
We were visiting family in FL and didn’t want to take the whole day to go golfing. Lakeview is a great solution - the par 60 course has 6 par four and 12 par 3s and can easily be played in 2-2.5 hours. Staff is friendly and price is reasonable especially in season. Also you can walk it and they have nice pull carts.
Much Improved
Went back to Lakeview after not playing there for awhile. Was impressed with the condition of the greens which were so much better than our last visit there.
The staff is ALWAYS friendly, kind and courteous, which makes for a great day of golf.
