Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Not my cup of tea
I booked this course as it looked like a real bargain on Golf Now. It was showing as a 4 star course. I would rate it as a one star if at all. I guess you get what you pay for.
No Par 5
I did not check that it was a par 60. No par 5 and the course is really close of houses a bit dangerous.

Great for senior play or working on short game
Great staff. Greens well kept but slow. Fairways need lots of work. Much better practice than going to the range.

Good value.
The greens were a bit shaggy and some fairways had lots of weeds but overall enjoyed the course and especially for the price! Great for tweaking your short game!
Recommended
Not being a scratch but a double +bogey player, both my wife and I enjoy this course as is suits our type of play. It is very suitable and reasonably priced for us. The low handicappers would rather prefer a high rated championship course. It is highly recommended for high handicappers
Course is in nice shape great for my short game

Played this course last April and it was worn they have definitely done a noticeable amount of improvements
tee boxes are too long and need work keep up the good improvements
Earlier this year I was going to ditch this place permanently

SO SLOW....
THIS COURSE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE IT DOES IN THE PICTURES ON THE SITE. THE COURSE IS NOT MAINTAINED WELL AT ALL. THE PACE OF PLAY HERE IS SOOOO SLOW THAT YOU WAIT LONGER ON THE TEE BOX THAN IT WILL TAKE YOU TO PLAY THE HOLE. PACE OF PLAY WAS RIGHT AROUND 20-25 MINUTES PER HOLE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT GO BACK EVEN IF IT WAS FREE.

Nice course and very helpful staff! Will definitely be going back!
Great for short game practice but a lil slow on pace.
Great course with nice staff, perfect spot to practice your short game, but I think due to the snow birds starting to roll in from up north the pace of play was a lil slow which makes things frustrating at times. Overall thou a good game lace to play!
