About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Not being a scratch but a double +bogey player, both my wife and I enjoy this course as is suits our type of play. It is very suitable and reasonably priced for us. The low handicappers would rather prefer a high rated championship course. It is highly recommended for high handicappers
Course is in nice shape great for my short game
Play here often n enjoy the course n the staff is great n friendly
Played this course last April and it was worn they have definitely done a noticeable amount of improvements
tee boxes are too long and need work keep up the good improvements
Earlier this year I was going to ditch this place permanently

SO SLOW....
THIS COURSE LOOKS NOTHING LIKE IT DOES IN THE PICTURES ON THE SITE. THE COURSE IS NOT MAINTAINED WELL AT ALL. THE PACE OF PLAY HERE IS SOOOO SLOW THAT YOU WAIT LONGER ON THE TEE BOX THAN IT WILL TAKE YOU TO PLAY THE HOLE. PACE OF PLAY WAS RIGHT AROUND 20-25 MINUTES PER HOLE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NOT GO BACK EVEN IF IT WAS FREE.

Great Course
Nice course and very helpful staff! Will definitely be going back!
Great for short game practice but a lil slow on pace.
Great course with nice staff, perfect spot to practice your short game, but I think due to the snow birds starting to roll in from up north the pace of play was a lil slow which makes things frustrating at times. Overall thou a good game lace to play!
How can you go wrong
Have played this course many times and have always been pleased. Being an amateur player I still find it challenging, I don’t believe a scratch golfer would be thrilled playing this exec course.
Move it along
Play here every week. Looks like the snowbirds are back. There were 3 men in front of our twosome who were very slow. There wasn’t anyone one in front of them. We waited a couple of holes thinking they might ask us to play through. They didn’t so we skipped the hole they were playing and went on to the next one. After a few holes we caught up to the next group but they played at a good pace. Why don’t the slow players let the faster players through?
Have played this course several times and we always enjoy coming back. We were behind a very slow foursome and the starter told us to proceed ahead which we did. This worked out very well for us.

Overall course was very well maintained and friendly staff. Can’t beat the price!
How can you not enjoy playing this course. My wife and I love playing this course. Even though it is an executive course it is still very challenging. All staff members are very friendly
Who could ask for anything more
It was a perfect day. The weather couldn’t have been better, the course is in great condition and we played well. The pace of play was great. There seemed to be more people playing this week. That’s to be expected as the snowbirds are coming back. So we enjoy while we can.

The weather was perfect, the course is in great condition and we played very well. What more could one ask for? Oh yes, it wasn’t crowded. Have to take advantage of that while we can.
Enjoyment
Love playing this course. Being a bogey player this course works well for me. I find some holes easy and many others very challenging. Staff always very pleasant and helpful Highly recommended.
Great dayill
Another great day. Didn’t think we’d play today as it poured early in the a.m. the golf gods were with us and the sun came out right before our tee time. It took us 2 hours and 20 minutes tp play 18 holes. We relish this because in a few weeks the course will be very crowded. The course is in great shape. Looking forward to next week.
