About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

New policy
A new policy not mentioned when round was purchased.. If you ride alone you must pay $10 extra plus tax that includes any othe persons you play with. The round for 2 people was and extra 20 plus dollars. This is a small executives course and not worth it not to mention that Covid is at it’s worst and they would have strangers riding together. If it was not mentioned we should not have been charges.Will never go back again.

Good for iron practice
Great course for some iron practice with a couple of driveable par 4s to keep it interesting. I'd recommend this course for anyone needing more practice with their short irons especially. I think my most commonly pulled club was a Pitching Wedge, with the occasional longer par 3 needing as much as an 8i (145+). Definitely gives you opportunities to use clubs you may not otherwise get to play a lot, as well as experiment with some 3/4 swings.
Don't bother with the putter as the greens are like a shag carpet with holes burnt in it, but a 60° Wedge is your friend here. Use it and learn to get the ball within tap-in distance on this shag and your short game will no doubt improve.
That said I don't think Lakeview should be charging $30 for a round. That's way too much for this tiny course. Peak pricing should cap at $25 here and stick to $20 here when possible. At those rates it's very approachable to beginners, and not a wasted round to better players that want to come here to practice. (wasted because if I can spend $30 to play a proper 6500+ yard course, I'd rather... But for $20, no question I'm heading to lakeview once a week or more for some iron work)
Not worth the trip!
Mostly par 3s, course needs a lot of TLC and the greens are terrible! Also, holes are so close to each other that it is dangerous! I will not go back!

A delightful round of golf
Lovely setting with beautiful mature trees for shade from the south Florida sun. Friendly staff. There was a lot of sand on the green not sure why. But overall a wonderful experience and I look forward to more.

Par 3
It didn't occur to me until I arrived that this was a mostly par three course. Average how being 100 to 120 yards. There are a few part 4's but they are no more than 250 yards. The only down side was that the greens were like 1970's shag carpets.
I had fun the staff was great the price you can't beat but in the end all you need is a couple wedges maybe a9 iron and a hybrid.

Great value, great pace
Got a special hot deal, roughly $14 pp including cart. Played 18 holes in 2 hours....fantastic!
Short game
Great for working on your short game but not many sand traps to practice in . I will play here again .
