About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Great course
Great course for seniors. Staff very helpful and friendly.
First Time, not a golf nut
For someone that doesn't play a lot, it was a good little course to get out on. Some holes are tight with houses along the right side. Obviously not a lot of holes where you are going to be challenged by the distance.
Ridiculous
I understand that the week of Christmas is a busy one, however the people here are ridiculous. I was a single who wanted to play golf as I am off work this week. My 5 year old son who lives with his mother was here to visit me for Christmas. He asked if he could come with me to watch me play golf and ride in the cart. When greeted and checking in I was told by the woman that she had to charge me for him to just ride in the cart due to it being a "moving vehicle". I was paying for the cart already, so what does it matter if my son rides with me? Also, I had an 11 am tee time and was told that children weren't allowed on the course til after 1. I had pre paid online for the round and of course did not stay and play due to not wanting to pay for my son to just ride along so that money is gone. Thanks for making a father son moment 2 days before Christmas a memorable one. It's a par 60 executive course, no Doral...I played this course multiple times during Covid shutdowns to try to support the local ones and it was completely dead all the time...now when I return to keep showing loyalty I am treated this way? No Thanks. I will never return. Ridiculous.

I come from 40 minutes away because I love this little course.
As a weak driver, I feel like a pro hitting from the yellow tees.
On full length courses, I drive from the red tees.
I also appreciate the value when it is available.
Nice short course
Course is short but fun to play. There was a lot of ground under repair they are working on. A few of the greens weren’t in great shape but still playable. Very little waiting today-not as busy as other times.
Fun course
Fun course for seniors. Friendly and accommodating staff. Play once a week.
Good value and tune-up
Lakeview is a great place to tuneup your iron game and to play with people who are distance challenged. Good value on specials and usually accessible without long wait times

New policy
A new policy not mentioned when round was purchased.. If you ride alone you must pay $10 extra plus tax that includes any othe persons you play with. The round for 2 people was and extra 20 plus dollars. This is a small executives course and not worth it not to mention that Covid is at it’s worst and they would have strangers riding together. If it was not mentioned we should not have been charges. Will never go back again.
