Lakeview Golf Club
About
Lakeview Golf Club is a favorite amongst Delray Beach locals. It is a par-60 executive layout that offers the perfect level of challenge for beginners, juniors, and senior golfers. It is the sister course to Delray Beach Golf Club, a championship course that is less than a mile away. Opened in 1972, the golf course has a classic design that measures just over 3,000 yards. The terrain is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable course to walk. Despite its length the holes have the feel of a championship course. There are 14 par 3s, a fair share of which are quite challenging as opposed to the uniform par 3s you see on some executive courses. For more advanced players, it is a great place to get in a quick round of practice.

Needs money spending on it.
Excellent lay out. Good test for even the best of golfers as the distances are not what you are used to.
This could be an excellent course but some of the tees on the par fours were out of use and the greens were bare in places. With money spent it could be a course to revisit over and over to improve your short game.
We enjoyed our round but with better maintenance this could be even more fun.
They were under remodeling, only 3 par were available.
They are under remodeling
Since they are under remodel, they only had 3 par available
TEE boxes being renewed
Played this course on a Friday at 11:50am. The staff and starter were very friendly and kind. The carts are gas which I enjoy. The course is a lot of par 3’s which makes pace of play fast. Me and my buddy were the only ones on the course. It had rained a lot over the past few days and it was cart only and some holes had a little flooding. The tee boxes were closed as they were trying to regrow them with nice new grass. We had a choice tee off at the red or yellow tee markers. I paid 16$ for 18 with cart and for the cost it’s a good short course to work on your irons.
30 mins early and rushed by starter
80% of the tee boxes were close with lower shorter sub par temp boxes. Turn a 116 yard hole to 85 yards with alternate tee boxes. Very disappointed. Also gas power golf carts that sound like lawn mower first time ever getting carts like this.
It’s ok
Es bueno para practicar tus par 3, pero no si quieres mejorar tus tiros largos, demasiados par 3
Temporary tees a bummer. Need to get back to real tees as soon as possible. Proshop staff awesome.
Lakeview is Improving
I played this course a year ago and at that time the greens were really chopped up and in bad condition.
This time I was very impressed by how much better the course was they have really made a big improvement in the condition of the greens. Our foursome had a really nice time.
When will the T offs be fixed?
Several T' boxes are in a state of disrepair and closed. T's moved up 30 yards and in bad spots.
Wish the regular tee boxes were available. Other than that this is nice course to work on your game
Been awhile
Haven't played here in over a year. Same thing, needs a lot of work. Went to play and not a word from the staff that a good amount of tee boxes are not to be used so they have you teeing up even closer to the green. Made play easier and not as challenging. Maybe they are treating the tee boxes, but they all look like dead grass. On hole 16 I hit my drive into the sand trap and saw the ball attempt to come out. When I got there I couldn't find my ball. All around the front edge of the trap is flowering weeds that aren't trimmed and my ball was trapped in them. So I had to give myself a penalty since the lie was un-hittable. Any other golf course would maintain the edges of the traps so this never would of been an issue. This could of been my best score on this course if it wasn't for the poor maintenance! I did see way more workers there than normal. Some of the greens had just been sanded. One green had a big dirt spot on it. It's a shame this course can't be maintained better.

Avoid this course
Tee boxes are under construction, pace of play is ungoverned, course is in real rough shape.
