About
The 27-hole Neshanic Valley Golf Course is the flagship course of the Somerset County Park Commission system. The renowned design team of Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry created the course. Divided into three nines known as the Lake, Ridge, and Meadow, the course provides three different 18-hole combinations. Each par-36 nine has five different sets of tees. The Meadow/Lake Course features ample amounts of fescue along both the fairways and greens. If you don't hit straight off the tees, you may find yourself in some trouble. There are cavernous bunkers framing the greens, which are also subtly sloped for even more of a challenge. The golf course begins and ends with water holes but you'll find environmentally sensitive wetland areas that come into play throughout. In addition to the 27-hole course, Neshanic Valley also has a nine-hole, par-32 Academy Course.

One of New Jersey’s finest public courses
Wonderful public course with a country club feel Great practice facilities I play mostly in Morris county and would compare it to Berkshire Valley
Not in mid season form
Tee boxes, fairways and greens have all been recently aerated so not the greatest at the moment. And be prepared to lose balls in the rough, it’s high. Every departure for the fairway necessitates a lengthy search.
Consistently good
play a late day sunny round and was able to play all three 9s before dark..awesome
Great course but very rude office stuff
They even said GolfNow players don’t bring the course any revenue.
Lake to Meadow
Always worth the drive to play here. Knew ahead of time that aeration started this week. Lake was done , Meadow gets aerated the next day. Still a challenge. Look forward to playing again.
Give out free ball mark repair tool
Course was beautiful as usual but this time the green were riddled with pitch marks which is sad that the public just ignore them. The course should mention fixing them at check in and maybe hand out free repair tools.
Good course to play
Very nice course to play golf. Staff was very friendly and helpful
