Neshanic Valley Golf Course - Meadow/Lake Course

Great course. 1st time playing it. Definitely lived up to the hype I always heard. Definitely will play again as soon as I can get a tee time.

Course is always in good shape..$87 is a bit pricey but everywhere has become expensive so tough to single out Neshanik. Great setting, solid course,. Did get stuck paired with a jack$$$, but otherwise it was ok

The course definitely lived up to all the hype I've heard about it. Beautiful layout. Best fairways I've ever seen n played on.

96 plus degrees today.

I made the turn and I was out for water and any other drinks that I had.

I asked the starter if I could grab an extra water. He asked me if I had gotten one before the round. I said yes. He then said No that I could purchase them.

We’ll I had no money on me so I asked again and told him I had no money on me.

With a nasty look on his face and I very nasty attitude the answer was no again!

This starter is an older gentleman and I find him to be very rude every time I go there.

He sits in he’s cart with an angry look in his face.

Never smiles and is never helpful.

If you hate your job so much quit.

We are trying to have a nice time golfing and a Starter like that makes me never want to go there again.

Sad because I really like Neshanic Valley

I don’t think I’ll go back anytime soon and he is the only reason why!!!

Course was in its usual great condition. Always a good time here but it is always a challenging track. Can’t wait til the next round here.

Excellent course. Great condition for August! Everyone who worked there were excellent!

Everything is tremendous at this course. There are 27 holes in the best shape possible. It has several tee boxes to choice from and you need to stay in the fairway to score. Always love playing here and will definitely be back soon.

Course was in good shape. Starter needs to develop a personality.

Played ridge / lake. Nice combination. Course was in very good shape and the green were rolling. Meadow was getting a little backed up so starter have us the option to switch to lake and the place was excellent.

We grabbed something to eat at the course and they only offered burgers or dogs. The burgers left some to be desired as they were small and overcooked.

Golf was good and if recommend a pass on the food.

For me, this has always been one of NJs finest. The entire course is well kept. Greens are in very good condition but not very fast, I wish they were faster. The rather large issue I have with the course is the rough. There is no intermediate cut, just fairway then rough, and the rough is punitive. It is very thick and long. Many good drives that just trickle off can find the rough. I mentioned this to the personnel at the course, who by the way possess the typical Jersey attitude, and they said, "tell it to stop raining". My reply to that, is this the first wet spring/summer in the history of man? Furthermore, does your lawnmower not work anymore? I would actually rather hit from the tall fescue. Hard to complain about a course that is so well kept but this is my review!
