About
Neshanic Valley Golf Course is a 27-hole layout that was designed by the renowned team of Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. The course is divided into three nines that can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The nines -- the Lake, Ridge, and Meadow -- are named after the different features of the varied terrain but each par-36 nine has five different sets of tees, which provides playing options for all skill levels. On the Meadow/Ridge Course you'll find ample fescue along the fairways and greens. The greens are especially tricky since not only are they framed by massive bunkers, the putting surfaces are also contoured. Though the slopes are subtle, they can be very tricky. There is a pond on the front nine and environmentally sensitive wetlands come into play throughout.

Slow
WE had a 10:35 tee time and we did not go off till 10:50. It was not the starter it was the pro or someone else who was so busy talking he forgot about us. We were sent out as a twosome among foursomes. There was a group on the course that were very slow and didn't care about playing slow. At one point they had 3 holes open in front of them. There were 3 groups waiting on a par three. The ranger drove right by them. When the group behind us complained to the ranger he finally told them to speed up. We were on pace for a 6 hour round so we skipped 2 holes to get ahead of them. When we talked the gentleman at the pro shop he was no help at all. This is a beautiful course but the inattentiveness of the staff made it a long and tedious day. It was sad because my son was shooting even par.
Excellent course
Enjoyed the round. Course is in excellent condition. Golfers have to learn to repair their divots on the green

Excellent
The courses get a lot of play. Justifiably so.
The only negatives — ball marks on the greens.
So many. So rude and irresponsible that players do not fix /repair .
And
Divots in the fairways. It’s not that hard to replace the turf.
Course was in very good condition, staff was friendly, pace of play great, just fun day.
Amazing course
Second time playing here and once again it did not disappoint. Course is in great condition from tee to green.

Course conditions were excellent. Would recommend playing. If anything negative is that the greens were healing from aeration. But still rolled very smooth. Price was good for being out of county.
Attention RANGERS NEEDED
While there were a lot of players out on this particular day there DID NOT seem to be any RANGER(s). . . Really a shame it could have been so much better and we could have been done at least 30 - 45i d earlier
Excellent course
Great golf course. Wish it were closer to home. Had enough tees for every level golfer. Even tho greens were air rated still had a wonderful day. Fantastic!
Aeration special
Pro shop short staffed, seemed a bit disorganized. Wind was howling. Greens still coming back from aeration. Fairways good, tee boxes good, sand traps good.
Restaurant staff friendly but chicken sandwich while tasty was super messy, bacon limp and took a while.
Homemade chips nice!
