About
Neshanic Valley Golf Course is a 27-hole layout that was designed by the renowned team of Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry. The course is divided into three nines that can be played in different 18-hole combinations. The nines -- the Lake, Ridge, and Meadow -- are named after the different features of the varied terrain but each par-36 nine has five different sets of tees, which provides playing options for all skill levels. On the Meadow/Ridge Course you'll find ample fescue along the fairways and greens. The greens are especially tricky since not only are they framed by massive bunkers, the putting surfaces are also contoured. Though the slopes are subtle, they can be very tricky. There is a pond on the front nine and environmentally sensitive wetlands come into play throughout.

A Must Play if you're in the state of New Jersey
Fall like weather in February in the North East? What can I say? It was wonderful for a day! This is a true gem of course design and balance of nature. All grass was brown but VERY playable all throughout. The greens were true, no complaints except the number of three putts (my bad). The two staff members I met were genuinely friendly and accommodating. You need to bring your 'A' game to the first tee. I heard the wind is always a factor here. I was not ready for the challenge, but will be back for another shot at this exceptional course.
Great Links Course
It is February so the grass is dormant, but the condition is still excellent. 5 tee boxes allow play from your preferred yardage. The cafe was closed because it is winter.
Enjoyed the game at Neshanic
Really happy for my last minute decision to book the tee time. The weather was nice. Course condition is better than expected, considering we are in the middle of the winter. The staff are very nice as usual. I plan to play here again next weekend, if weather permits.
Have played there a number of times and every time it is great. Workers are kind and course always in top condition.
The nicest course I have played on. Despite the middle of December, the course was in great condition. Nothing but good things to say. Look forward to playing again very soon.
