Neshanic Valley Golf Course - Meadow/Ridge Course

I booked a Team time Deal. There was only one player available. So I assumed that meant I would be joining 3 others. When I checked in with the starter, I was told I would be playing by myself. Took 2 hours and 20 minutes to play Nine holes. By myself. I left after 9 holes. If I didn't book through Golf Now, I wouldn't have played, but I didn't have an option as I paid Golf Now directly in advance. I guess this is just something to watch out for if you use Golf Now. You may not be playing by yourself even if the only available tee time is for 1 for your tee time.

Unfortunately our round was curtailed due to rain.. but having played the course before it looked to be in great shape as usual

I have wanted to play Neshanic Valley since it opened, but always balked at the price. However, I was able to get a $28 GolfNow Hot Deal so jumped on it. I am glad I did because the course is in excellent shape and well worth playing.

The fairways, greens, tee boxes, and grass in the rough are all equal to country club conditions. My only (minor) complaint about the condition of the course is that the bunkers are not on par with everything else. It had rained the day before and many bunkers were muddy. Furthermore, even dry spots in some bunkers were more dirt than sand. However, several bunkers were really nice. Overall, the bunkers have an inconsistent quality.

The course is a nice challenging layout, but not extremely difficult. Many of the fairways are pretty wide, but primarily on the longer holes. Fairway and greenside bunkers are strategically located to make it important to have an accurate tee shot (and 2nd shot on par 5's). The rough is very playable, but many holes have high fescue grass not far off the fairway - if you hit it in the fescue, you have a lost ball.

Now that I have played once, I will definitely play Neshanic Valley again.

Course was extremely fair. Fairways afford the average golfer a chance to score. Greens held and were fast but not unputtable. From the gold tees it was a challenge for a 13 handicap. I will definitely play it again but on weekday when it is less crowddd and cheaper.

Course was in mint condition. Beautiful layout. Pricey but a pleasure to play.

A little too open, fairways a little too wide. Otherwise just about perfect.

I have been playing here for a couple of years now. I love this course but lately the greens are bumpy and not cut like when this course was being prepped for that Women's Amateur championship.

Maybe they are short of staff to maintain the course but it sure a shame CZ this used to be a very nice course on PAR with some expensive private clubs. It is quite pricey to play in this county course, they have to keep up the high quality golf course that' they used to have when they first opened it for play.

The course layout is challenging and yet fair, keep your approach shots on the green and better yet, try to get as close to the flag. If not these bumpy greens will mess up

you score big time. When am paying top dollars I expect these greens to be cut and rolled properly that way we can really have a nice and fast greens that's good for cleaning out some pockets...just enjoying friendly wager to keep golf a bit more exciting..

I still bring my buddies here...they all notice that it is not what it used to be....

Nice round at superior "county" course at an awesome price.

The course is nice but way over priced, there is no drinking water on the course and your not allowed coolers, the beverage cart was under stocked and over priced also

Have not played Neshanic in a few years, but the course is in great shape and is a beauty. Keep your ball in the short grass or you won't find it.

Although they were aerated a few weeks ago, the greens were like putting on a burlap sack.

Aération was made in mid August and the greens didn't get at their total recovery. 2weeks more and they should be perfect as usual.

Greens should have been dressed better after they were airraided

They(staffs) are so unkind and discriminated with the reserved us via golf now.com.

It was really regret to us...

My friends and I arrive at the course early for our tee time we askef politely if we would be able to go out earlier the course adamantly refused to do so they were extremely rude and 100% I'm customer friendly doing this interaction I understand the policy however I thought they could've handled this matter 100% better than what they did.
