About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Great Deal
Such a great deal. Will continue to golf here as long as the prices don’t change.
Extremely slow pace of play
If you like waiting 10 minutes or longer to tee off on each hole this is the course for you. We had a 3:30 tee time and didn’t tee off until 4:15 and on each subsequent hole there were 2 groups waiting to tee off. It just seemed like they crammed as many groups on the course as they could. Ended up leaving after 9 holes because it took 3.5 hours for just the 2 of us. Overall the course was in pretty good shape and the price is unbeatable, however you should expect a slow round. Very disappointed to say the least.

Course in decent shape for August. Some tee boxes need work. All Sand traps need work. Pace of play was very slow. Did not see a ranger once.

Hidden gem
I’ve played white oaks in the past and, this course really is the best for your money. White Oaks has a great staff from when you pull up to the bag drop, up to there Management in the pro shop. They have an excellent practice green and the course from tee box to greens are manicured nicely. I’d like to thank Kevin for his help. Excellent. Also the restaurant has very tasty food and drinks. Play White Oaks and be happy with the course you picked on GolfNow -

Needs work and someone to speed up pace of play
Since having played here a couple times earlier this summer, it's gone downhill. Burned out, thin fairways, bad bare tee boxes and lots of stones in traps. The greens weren't bad, fairly quick but some slightly burned. But worst of all was pace of play, over 5-1/2 hours mid day on a Tuesday. Threesome in front of us had no etiquette, wasting time every shot, pulling lost balls out of lakes, etc. At times there were 3 groups waiting at a tee box. And not a course ranger in sight. At $25 Golf Now rate, I guess you get what you pay for. Won't be returning...

Needs repair and layout help
Don’t be fooled by recent positive reviews, this place is not a great option. I wish I just ponied up the $100 for Seaview or TD.
Burned out tee boxes, thinly cut/wet fairways, bumpy and oddly designed greens.
Tee boxes and holes are very nearby so you hear everyone everywhere. A lot of Fores being called

Needs Some Work
Yes, it had just rained the night previous, but the bunkers were filled with water (nearly all of them). Most golfers do not replace divots in the fairway, nor repair ball damage on the green. Several burned and bumpy greens. Everyone is experiencing the heatwave, but it appears white oaks has a little catching up to do on course management.

Summer golf and course in great shape
Great rate and course is in great shape. Drink cart all day. Plenty of ice water. No rush and great food and drink after the round. Sent off the back 9 to start and course was watered throughout. Finished the round in 4 hours 10 minutes with 2 golfers. Highly recommended

Hot Sunday
Played on hot day 99 degrees, but team up with two real nice gentleman, and also both good golfers, so made the round go by fast.

Course has good features but..
The course has a nice layout. However, the greens were not in great shape also it seems like there are a lot of bunkers that they just let grow rather than maintaining them. This course could greatly benefit from extending some holes and adding some more fairway challenges along the way.

Play this coarse !!
If you don't like a challenge, stay home. I love a tough coarse. Narrow fairways, well placed traps, water holes. You should be a thinking golfer to play this coarse. I traveled from Delaware to play this coarse and will be back again. I will not invite most of my golf friends as they prefer wide open layouts. My playing partner today enjoyed it as well. It is very hard to maintain a coarse that is set in the woods, but these guys do a darn good job. GO ! PLAY !! ENJOY !!!
