About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Maintenance
Plugged fairways and many burned out. Greens line scored. If working on your game worth the money but if want acourse in good shape. It's not ready yet.
Very nice course
Staffs nice, course is nice, and as a single playing at 6:30am I’m usually paired up with members... who have all been welcoming so far even while playing with a beginner with a 25 handicap. All very good experiences. Only wish is being able to start on the back 9 on occasions Bc i can only play 9 in the morning before work. But I respect their policy. Also having a 9 hole rate in the AM would help as well. For $20-$39 though, you won’t find a nicer course in the area. - JZ

A waste of time and money
Had not played White Oaks in a long time so I took advantage of good green fee deal on Golf Now for Labor day and went and played. I should have stayed home. First the course conditions were terrible, the fairways barely had any grass, the worst I have played on in a long time. Most of the greens had bare spots and were extremely bumpy in spots making any putt over 10 feet a real adventure. Then to top it off the pace of play was extremely slow, took almost 5.50 hours to play 18 holes, not a ranger in sight to help speed up play. Will not be back.
Hi, we are sorry to hear about your negative experience. Our course went through aerification recently on fairways and tees. We did have a note on our counter at check-in and made sure to verbally tell all our guests upon them checking in for their round. As for the greens, one of our holes does have slight issues from disease, we are aggressively fixing that one hole and have made sure to keep all our other greens in good shape in the meantime. Regarding your pace of play, we apologize for it being slow, although we had a ranger out there managing it to the best of our abilities. One and done, fairways were not good, nice layout, ranger looks at you like you stole something, not a friendly atmosphere, cart prices way too high.

Slowest pace I have ever witnessed
Worst experience I ever had last 3 times I tried playing here I didn't even finish. Will never ever set foot on this course ever again. Pace of play was the slowest I have ever seen and experienced. If you want to wait 15minutes before every shot you take I suggest you try this course. I'd rather play any other course even if they have aerated greens instead of playing here at whiteoaks. Awful.

Nice course
Fairways were not great (sparse and crabgrass) but most courses in the area are worse. Greens were really good but on the slow side. Traps were plenty and well groomed. Staff was very friendly. Overall it’s well worth the $20 I paid on Golfnow.

Great course
Played on a Sunday afternoon course was pretty busy, but we got right out on time. Layout is a lot of fun, fairways are pretty tight and all the holes play up against others. With this said a lot of balls cross over fairways, we almost got hit by a ball on every hole. A lot of people who lacked any etiquette were out there playing multiple balls from our fairway without even acknowledging we were waiting on them to move. We also had a few balls we watched get picked while we were driving up to our shots. This is not the courses fault, just not an ideal crowd for a pretty nice course. All in all had a fun time, staff was friendly, layout was a lot of fun. Most of the course was in very good shape for this time of year. A few tee boxes and greens were burnt out but not terrible. Greens were lighting fast! Would play again especially for the good price, just maybe not on a weekend to avoid the crowds.

Pace was unbearable
I know weekend golf has a slower pace but this was unacceptable. Said something to course staff twice about talking to groups ahead of us trying to speed up the pace and they never did. Guys were hitting 3 or 4 balls from each spot. 3 hours to play 10 and a half holes. I will only play this course on a weekday moving forward.
