About
White Oaks Country Club is carved from the mature pinelands of Newfield in south Jersey. Towering oak trees frame the golf course, separating each hole and giving each one a secluded feel. There are several challenges in store on this layout including massive strategically placed bunkers and water hazards, but it is also forgiving enough to accommodate beginners. The golf course does not have just one hole that it considers its signature but in fact, multiple holes. There is the par-5 seventh which stretches to a monstrous 621 yards and the par-4 ninth features a tricky second shot over water to a double green. These two challenging holes take advantage of the landscape's natural contours. The 17th is yet another signature hole, it has been voted the "toughest par 3 in South Jersey."

Course condition
The course was not in great shape for the amount of money. The fairways were covered in crab grass. I understand the heat has been an issue but this was insane. The tee boxes were also not in the best shape. I was very disappointed with how the course condition was. I might not return for the remainder of the year.

Course is good
Course was in good shape being it rained all day before my tee time.
Only compliant is there is no beverage cart at all in course and they won’t let you bring even a little cooler on course

Underrated for the price
I’ve played here a few times and am always pleasantly surprised. For the price, you get a decent test on a rather shortish course. If you don’t keep it in the fairway, you’ll often pay by having to chip out and take your medicine. Trees are dense and most times, you’ll have to just get it back in play. If you keep it out of trouble, you can put up a nice number. Greens may be the best thing about course. When their right, very quick but true. I’d recommend it to play a couple times a year

Excellent Course, below subpar staff
Played this course for the first time today, and it is a hidden gem of South Jersey. One of the few courses in the area that trees don’t play a huge factor and they’re spread out! Plus it’s an extremely challenging course!
My biggest complaint was the staff and management. We were denied the opportunity to bring our coolers on the course on the HOTTEST day of July and told there would be a beverage cart driving around. We understood and didn’t have a problem until we finished the front nine and not a SINGLE time did the beverage cart pass us. They had no idea where the cart was or if anyone was even driving it. This definitely left us with a bad, DRY taste for the course.

Great value golf course
I've played white Oaks many times, during the pandemic they are doing a great job, seems almost normal. Never overpriced staff is helpful , had amenities on course that others are neglecting now. great food in restaurant

Water in every bunker! Otherwise nice.
Nice layout, water in every bunker. Quickest round I ever played there at 3hrs 15min.

Good layout
Course in great shape, pace was good, would play again. Staff was excellent. Only problem was after leaving 5th green and going to 6th tee, when we got there, 2 players were on the tee, I ask them what the this was and they said 6. Well they weren't the foresome we had been following. Should have said something to them, but didnt. Well they screwed up the pace from then till they cut out on 11th. Always someone gotta mess up.

Fun track
The course has definately been in better condition than past years. Pretty challenging course overall as most holes have little room for error. Played on a Sunday and apparently theres no marshal on Sundays so the group ahead of us had no problem hitting multiple balls on each hole. Course conditions are only average for the price as it’s a pretty expensive course. Overall a fun track.
