Quick cheap round
Great price to play. Cart at $40 for two people seems a little high but was enjoyable.
Course was in good shape. They have let the OB area grow last few years. Tee boxes weren’t beat up fairways in good shape after rain we have had. Warm day so looked like not many wanted to play, played at our own pace.
I can’t say any bad things. I’ve been here before and know what to expect.
Would suggest placing 100 or 150 yard markers in the fairway of the Pat 4 holes.
Other than that, we will come back to play here.
Great precourse treaining
All except around 120-175
4 par 4s relatively short but ez birdie for scratch golfer.
Great pace 3 hr round up to 4hrs l.
Great course to go to before tournament or outting .
Great value
Very nice executive course. In good shape particularly after a day of rain. Greens and tees in good shape. Only four fairways come into play and they were in good shape as well. $16 through GolfNow for 18 holes… Can’t beat that.
Easily walked by this seasoned citizen. Was fairly empty when I played most likely due to 90* temp. 2.5 hours playing by myself. <4 miles to walk. Only drawbacks are lack of water to drink on the course and poor signage.
This course is also a boost for the golf ego;)
nice varied layout for par 58
fun course , nice layout with barely a house visible so you feel out in the country.
good conditions. walkable but we used cart.
they are a little short on carts so we had to walk the first 2 holes until they hustled one out to us. I suppose you could wait for one to come back before tee off but we opted to start off walking.
only negative was lack of people fixing ball marks. I fixed at least 3 on every hole and could have stayed there repairing all day.
Great For Recreational Golfer
The course is ever well kept and the staff is super friendly. Currently a few of their carts are in service so had to wait till some came in before going out. As a shorter course, totally walkable. Pace of play is slow. Very slow. However, that’s only a problem if you want it to be a problem. We rated low objectively, but for us it is comfortable. Didn’t feel pressured to rush our game. It is a technical course, mostly par 3. Not many hazards but to score well you have to consistently put the ball where you want to.
Pleasantly Surprised
Short course with 14 par 3’s and 4 par 4’s. Each hole is framed out nicely. Small greens making you focus on precision iron shots. Course was in nice shape overall. Tee boxes are a little worn but you’d have to expect that with every tee shot being a short iron. Greens were in good shape- they be even better if people fixed their ball marks! My only complaint is even from the tips I think the longest par 3 was only 177 yds. If you’re looking for a nice little track to work on your short game and scoring clubs you need to check this place out.
Nice Par 3 Course
Nice little Par 3 course in Somerset County. Good for feeler shots and working on pitching and wedges overall.
Good Par 3 Course
Really nice par 3 course. Unexpected but beneficial as you don't get to work on par 3 as often. Definitely a feeler course as it relates to clubs and distance to hole. Recommended with push cart!
Holiday Round
Short course was easy to walk. Tee boxes, fairways, greens and bunkers were in great shape. Round took longer than expected because a lot of folks were freed from work for Juneteenth holiday. Would play here again.
Beginners Only
This is a short par-three course (only 3 legit par-four holes. Pace of play is extremely slow. Lots of beginners on the course.
Not worth the money
For experienced golfers you can get a much better round for the same price (maybe even less) as what this place cost.
Play Fast
Nice course! Friendly staff! Pace of play is bad. Move it people , you are not on pga tour or LIV golf. Don’t spend more than a minute putting on the green!
Fun chip and putt course
Course was in great shape! A great place to work on your short game and even get a few drives in. Only downside was the pace of play. It was a snails pace to the point the 7th hole had 3 groups waiting at a time! The rest of the round moved very slowly there after. For an 18 hole course with 5800 yards it shouldn’t take 4 and a half hours to get through. Other than that the course was in excellent conditions, tee boxes could use a little work and of course there needs to be a Marshall to keep groups moving.
